First off I think that I'll just address the major problem with this poll that nobody else been either willing to, or is (god forbid) incapable of pointing out.

Powered armour, is just that, a full body-encasing suit of armour that is mechanical in nature, the Gear's COG armour, Isaac's mining suit, and the Stormtrooper's armour, are not powered, they're just suits of armour (Or in Isaac's case, a pressurized mining suit with strips of metal rivited on for rudementary slashing protection), and I'm fairly sure the Helghast's armour is also just ordinary armour, unless it had mechanized parts.

The Hardsuit from Mass Effect is a wildcard here, as it isn't powered in nature, but according to the original Mass Effect, it can be upgraded to possess mechanized joints, meaning that is can be technically counted as powered armour.

So you should fix that issue by removing the 'power' bit from your post, or removing the above mentioned armour from the list, barring the Mass Effect Hardsuits.

My favourate suit of powered armour would be the T-45x from Fallout 3, hey, it looks badass, what can I say?

I like ODST's alot more than the Mjolnir ones..but im voting Dead Space..but only because Dead Space 2's new suit looks so kick-ass..i might not wear it in a fire fight..but to space..defiantly.

Probably either Halo or Mass Effect, because unlike Starcraft and Warhammer's armor they are sleek and powerful at the same time and still allow fr great movement, the Mass Effect armor is probably more powerful, but the Mk. 6 MJOLNIR armor used by Master Chief increases speed and reaction time tremendously. Samus's armor has the built in weapons but touching a giant bug does damage to it which make me doubt its structural integrity.

I swear, if I'd been on set for Halo Landfall ONCE, they would be missing a full set of their armor. And one of their battle rifles. And pistols. I'd LOVE to have brought the Warthog home, but I don't think I could've snuck it out...

Starship Troopers(the book) could leap over buildings and squeeze gorillas to death. Not to mention the nuclear rocket launchers and getting dropped from orbit. Can't find pictures of anything but the movie. Of course the one on the cover is obscured by the title.

There was an anime, and manga for Starship troopers back in the 80s which depicted the soldiers in power armor. I haven't read the book, so I don't know if it's accurate, but here's a picture of it from the manga:

That seems to cover it pretty well. At least abilities wise. I suppose I'll have to try and draw my own. Since it was a book and all the "accurate pictures" are in my head. Could take awhile. Especially since I suck at drawing.

The Nano Suit from Crysis, because of how plausible to design is and I love how it looks. It really looks like something you could see being developed in the near future, and the overall design really shows off that the suit is tough.

I agree that it looks good/plausible, but to me it also looks like something that could easily fit into a fantasy setting.
