What's your favorite SSB game?

Mine was Melee, it was like the original, but with better graphics, more moves, more characters, and didn't get out of hand like Brawl (imo)

Also, the black hole cheat is hilarious and awesome (anyone else know what im talking about here?)

Kicking all of my friends' butts on Brawl is awesome. Plus, I don't own a Wii, so always winning is all the sweeter when I go up against my Wii-owning pals.

Melee. Sure, it lacked the levels of the original and the characters of Brawl, but it was fun! The Adventure mode was really good, it took you HOURS to unlock all of the stages and characters, and the Event matches were challenging in an addictive kind of way.

Melee. It just felt right. It was really hard to adjust to Brawl.

I really liked the original. If for no other reason then it's been the only one i spent extensive time with. I jumped off of the Nintendo bandwagon after the N64. I've played the other two though and i just plain don't like brawl and melee was alright in my opinion but I couldn't get into it.

Melee, everything about it was balanced and classic.

Brawl, as long as you take the Final Smash out of the game. They can be fun for a more party-type atmosphere, but if you're playing to kick ass, they just make the game completely unbalanced.

I actually liked the first one the best, granted that's mostly nostalgia talking... If I had no experience with the franchise when it first started I would say brawl... I hated melee I don't know why
