i don't see why everyone liked melee the most. brawl's just the same but upgraded basically. i think brawl's the best.

I'm always going to like the most recent smash game the most simply because it has more characters and stages. I do agree that the speed in comparison to Melee is sort of bad though, which is why I prefer playing on 1.5X speed.

I love Brawl the most out of all three. The original and Melee were good for their times, but they were both successfully outdone by their successor in every possible way. That, and Brawl's main theme is way more epic than Melee's.

I liked Brawl, to a point. It was the only one that got me interested enough to play.

Still, I haven't ever played a game where someone hasn't lost track of where they are on screen.

The speed reduction is why I like Melee the best. That and while smash balls are fun, they add way too much chance to the game.

Melee! It was the first game I bought alongside my GameCube, and still to this day i love playing on it. I've tried Brawl, but the controller felt awkward as hell.

Melee. The novelty of brawl ran out way too fast. I played melee all the way from when it came out to when brawl was released.

I would have said the Original, but the characters in Melee are just so well balanced.

I liked the Original a lot because of its basic graphics. Only one that Four characters at the same time didn't result in clusterfuck. But the characters I think were a little imbalanced so I'll say Melee.

On a side note, I really, really wish they would release SSB on other consoles. I don't want motion controls, I want to play SSB online!!!

Hopefully, my router will eventually stop being such a huge jerk. Either that, or it will get scrapped in favor of a wired router/LAN adapter combo this holiday.

I thought Brawl sucked... a lot of the new characters were lame... Someone told me that it was just because I "didn't know how to use them"... Guess I had too much of a life to play the game night and day trying to figure out the best way to use a character to kill the computer during the week I rented the game...

Brawl definately. Its got lots of characters and gd graphic (for nintendo) and its just cooler all round.

Because Brawl went over the line, it was just too packed with stuff. Also, lot's of characters and a few features were not featured in brawl, many of those characters were favorites, while brawl has alot of unrecognised and boring characters.
