I live in the U.S. so its hard to find a cricket bat so I can go all Sean of the dead on some zombies, so I went and bought its American equivalent, the American wood baseball bat. but something isn't right. To me its seems that the cricket bat could stand up to more abuse and deliver a harder blow. I've seen American baseball bats break often, but I don't know enough about cricket bats, (or have ever seen one in person), to declare one superior to the other. so my question to this international audience is which is the better zombie basher?

EDIT: Yes crowbars are the awesome, but lets focus on the bats in question.

I'd say golf putter but there are tons of better alternatives that I probably missed

hmmm i would have to stick to the best choice given in the Zombie Survival guide, and that would be the crowbar. They have a great weight to them, are extremely good for bashing and can be found at any hardware store. Go crowbars!!

Agreed. I have a crowbar right now. And it's nice and blue so as to be easy to find.

If ive learned anything from bioshock, ive learned that a golf club will be my buddy if zombies come, sence it went into a normal man's skull a-ok, it could go through a zombie's head no problem

A cricket bat is definitely better than a baseball bat because of the flat edge, but a crowbar beats them all. A sledgehammer works too, but if you miss with your first swing you're zombie food.

I can honestly say i have never seen a cricket bat break, ever. And yeah, they rule. But not as much as a crowbar.

I'm going to say cricket bat, the stopping power potential would be amazing. With good aim you could easily remove a zombie head with one, although the baseball bat, being lighter, would be more efficient in the long run.

I have always said that I'll be keeping a baseball bat nearby in the event of the zombie apocalypse. But not a wooden one. One of those aluminum ones. That oughta teach those zombies a lesson.

Although I have to admit I'd never really considered a crowbar before. It's probably better, but it doesn't make that "PING! PING!" sound I adore so much.

Crowbar's the choice for me. Or else a really sharp stick. Yeeeah...
Finding a cricket bat in Sweden is like finding the Da Vinci code. So that's out of the question when it comes to reliability . However, we got tons of baseball bats if you go to any local school's sports locker. However, to get the locked door open you'd need a...

My brother used to play golf and I found a sort of training club he used to practice his swing. It's just a little bit longer than my arm and has a nice, heavy weight on the end of it. I'm keeping it as part of my home security system.
