The shotgun gets unlocked for everyone. You level up the classes and have an overall level. The shotguns get unlocked when your overall level reaches a certain point. It's actually really fun to have the sniper upgrades on a close-range class... Because of the huge maps it takes a very different play style than COD, so it's not for everyone. But, at least in my opinion, it's one of the funnest multi-player games around.DragonLord Seth said:
BC2 was the first online shooter I ever played. I spent over 700 hours playing that games multiplayer and those were amazing times. The combat was great, teamwork was not forced or essential, but incredibly helpful and I was a beast at it.

I really enjoy Black Ops as a matter of fact.
However, it doesn't touch the beast that is BF:BC2.

That said, I prefer much more tactical gameplay, so I'm having a lot of fun with America's Army (buggy as it is) at the moment.
Even in PUG's you can get some really good teamwork going, especially if you get yourself onto a relatively full clan-server. You'll be in a mixed-weapons team, where people watch their sectors (and your back), mark targets, and almost nobody is acting like a squirrel on crack, so it's pretty cool. You also only get one life (no respawns) - you'd expect a lot of camping, but my experience is that people don't camp, but they play a LOT more tactically, using cover, moving slowly behind ridgelines etc.
It is a bit buggy (more so than BC2) but it's still a better game.

BF:BC2 easily. Don't get me wrong, I've played Black Ops till my hands have bled, but BC2 just has so much more tactical gameplay than BO. Black Ops requires you to run forward and back on the map to get as many kills as possible, occasionally having to plant a bomb, while also not dying. With Battlefield, you actually have to take a position that is tactically useful and hold onto it with your team for dear life, rather than run to the enemy spawn and kill them while they're there.
There's also none of this kill streak bullshit that I've grown to hate. You get your helicopter to fly, your quad bike to ride and the gun in your hands and you have to do what you can with that. The sniping is also far superior to Black Ops. I'm by no means as good on BF:BC2 as I am on Black Ops, but I'm getting better and I'm loving it more and more as I play.

I prefer BC 2 but it can be just as bad if not worse with the spawn killing especially on Arica harbour and a few other maps.
Haven't played BLOPs but I have no intention to. BC2 has more than been a bang for my buck. The whole perks system that COD has turns me off. With BC2 there are no ultimate perk combo which is nice

BFBC2 because not only does it require more team work, the addition of destruction and ballistics adds difficulty overall. I know it doesn't stop people from doing it, but the idea with ballistics is that not everyone can snipe from across the map and just pile on kills. The intention of the sniper is less about kill counts and more about suppression.
i kinda camp only in the sense of defense and staying alive especially if you are just charging. also Bad compony hands down in that game the likelyhood of connection problums is low compared to black ops with every 5 games and destructible envirns with fun gameplay is perfect. BLOPS? hell if i wanted the worst mess of a glitched up cocaine fueled mess with kids 10 years old being dicks(luckily i have a modrate nat type so i am spared from the "what the hell you piecie of butt sniffin retard" shit)with most games you are dominated i would play Black Ops. have to give points to its singleplayer even though when i first played it hadd a glitch on the first level where it randomly said at tis one moment that i failed to protect someone.lobster1077 said:
