Bad Company 2. Largely because the mechanics of the game are such that the only people I rely on to ensure my level of enjoyment are in my squad which could easily be populated entirely with close friends. The game mechanics are also such that furthering the success of the team is not necessarily anathema to my own personal enjoyment.

If allowed to go outside the choices: wait for Battlefield 3
If forced into poll choices: Black Cops

Knife was the first weapon I got the gold medal with in BC2, and is still the one I have the most kills with. Where is your God now?

BC2
Simply because that if I get shot by a "camper", I know exactly who's in fault-me. Because I could have destroyed his ass if I spotted him run into the room earlier.

Were most of your kills from the front or from the back?
Also, did most of your "prey" know you were coming at him or not?

I'd say BO because I had a much less difficult time getting it to work (both right on release), and for everything everyone says about BO being poorly balanced none of them hold a candle to the fucking Gustav (seriously at least last time I played if you weren't using it you were clearly an idiot). Maybe they've fixed it by now, but I don't play either of them anymore.

BC2 is awful

lollistics in it also, at 300M with a high velocity .50 cal you should be aiming like a mil-dot up (depending on the magnification of course), not aiming at their hear and hitting their chin. In fact, from 300M you should be aiming a full meter above them if you hope to hit them. The weapons look like duplo, the game's hella inefficient, it's too spaced out to play.

Waste of my money.

I voted Bad company 2. It's just a better made and way more fun game. The few issues that are with it occur so rarely that there really not a problem.

Battlefield just does so much more. The maps are well designed and offer a variety of routes to take. They offer a variety of tactics and reward players who think first. Also, vehicles. There's nothing more fun than flying into battle with 5 friends in the back of your Helo firing miniguns, for them to then jump out capture the point and disperse. It's just so much fun.

Black Ops, what does it offer? Yeah, the multiplayers ok. It's good. But it gets boring far too quickly! Why? Because everything I've done on that game, I've done on the others...for four years.

another factor, the DLC. £10 for 5 maps or £10 for 5 maps and a completely different multiplayer experience? Talks for itself.

Battlefield in general, because of the way the games actually feel like full-scale battlefields. Try a game on Heavy Metal (the largest map to my knowledge) and you'll find up to about 6 different battlefronts on the same map, each trying to make a separate push towards victory.

You're playing it with the wrong mindeset. You're thinking about it like it is an arcade shooter. I would know, I played it that way too when I first started. And for the first hour I hated every single aspect about that game.
But then I came back a day later and my mind kind of clicked, and I just got addicted to it

With a Barrett M82 0.50 Anti-personnel rifle, you would need to aim around a hairs breadth above their head to hit the centre of the head. It's firing a round over 2,700 feet per second. The bullet drops going to be minimal. Calculate the minute of angle. At 300m a person falls directly between the 1up and 1down on a 40x scope. (Depending on country ofcourse)

Then again...this isn't a thread about ballistics.

Bad Company 2:

It's just a different experience, the atmosphere is great and the sound effects are just awesome! The other reasons were already told.

Eh, at 2700 feet per second, that's 1000ms^-1

1/3 of a second travel time, roughly speaking.

1/3 of a second at 9.8 ms^-1 downwards is a pretty significant drop, dno what a 1-up 1-down is on a scope, mine has mil-dots and 1/4 moa turret clicks, though it's not strapped to anything as extravagant as an m82A2, the round velocity is far lower and the ranges far smaller.

Fact is, the game handles loosely and it was hell to play, and the levelling system was much worse than CoD's in the fact that you had to level to play it at all really, wheras CoD's best stuff could be found at the beginning. The netcode and hitreg was not even close to what the Quake engine puts out.

Plus, personal point, I don't like shooters with vehicles. At all. like... AT ALL

And, there was this launcher when I played it, the Carl Gustav, and ffuu it's worse than any "overpowered" thing in black ops. And the M60 players were all post 4 K/D while people with other weapons suffered horribly.

It's just.. not my game, I'd gladly give it away without a second thought, if it didn't bind to steam account.

yeah I'm pretty sure the Hot Carl is OP as fuck in BC2...
I've seen some servers that don't let you use it with the explosive 2 perk, which kind of makes it as lethal as an RPG. On other times though, it is VERY overpowered.
