Currently reading The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas. Quite enjoyable. I read a little, though not as much as I should.
That's one of my favorites, I once read it through three times in two weeks. Which translation are you reading, or do you know enough French to read the original (I wish I did)?
I'm reading David Coward's translation, although I feel I should probably be reading it in the french, given I've studied the language for, oh, about eight years. Oh well.

I need more books. I wasted a good lot of time and money on the Star Wars expanded universe, money better well spent buying Discworld. And after finishing the Sandman, I've got nothing much else. But I do read a lot.

Just finished The Great Gatsby, and then next I'm gonna start Interview With The Vampire for I think the third time.

I don't know why i don't read more often, I'm currently on and off again reading The Lord of The Rings(a 3 in 1) and The Night Angle Trilogy
but books seem to be a very last resort for me, most reading i do is either on the net, newspaper and RPGs ...OH and manga ^^ ...and for studying i guess

It's really good once you get into it.

I'm currently reading American Shaolin by Matthew Polly. It's a great book if you're interested in martial arts or just want to read some random story about a kid who goes to China instead of college. Awesome...

I haven't been reading as much as I usually do this year. With college, i just don't have as much time. Plus I don't have the right chair.

Of course I read books, without this I wouldn't know all the knowledge of the Cleveland Browns that I do today

Also, I'd miss out on Percy Jackson and the Olympians, all the books about my favorite games that litter the shelves, and watchmen. I may read only a few genres, but hey, no-one likes everything all the time...that's just weird and makes that person a whore

I worked out when I was about 14 that I had a book collection worth about £1000 and I had read most of them. I always imagined a full collection of Goosebumps and Animorphs would sell for a fortune in the future (i.e. now). *shakes head sadly*

Now I go through phases of not reading much at all, to reading avidly. Generally I give into hype and have to read a series of books, get into them and read them in a week. I did this with Harry Potter and the Twilight saga.

But generally, I love all things Horror (especially Graham Masterton, James Herbert and S. King) and I love the Discworld series (although I recently made the mistake of reading Making Money before Going Postal, not realising Moist was the main character in both. :p)

Still, I'll read anything really but writing style is important to me, especially if the contents of a book isn't to my usual taste. So I love Hawthorne (although I hear most American students hate him like British students hate Shakespeare, heh) and I loved H.P. Lovecraft's style after I was used to it (even though The Call of Cthulhu is one of his worst short stories ever, so apologise if I e-slap any Cthulhu fan-people if I'm having a bad day) but generally, I'll go for a book which will terrify me or make me belly laugh.

Yes. Today I will be mostly using brackets (like this) quite a lawt. *returns to shed*

"We the Living" is collecting dust on my shelf. I need to read it. It's only 1/3 the size of "Atlas", anyway.

About every two weeks I go on a voracious reading spree and finish 4-5 novels in as many days. Then I either get sick or swamped with work and have absolutely no time for reading. And then, One day when I'm bored I crack open a book I find laying around and go on another binge. It's a vicious cycle.

Favorite authors would Stephen King, Karen Traviss, H.P. Lovecraft, Chris Wooding and Walter Dean Myers.

Currently I'm trying to work through "Dope Sick" by WDM and "Johannes Cabal the Necromancer" by Johnathan L. Howard.

Most of what I read is non-fiction. Right now I'm reading "Just and Unjust Wars" by Michael Walzer; it's a very engaging book, even if I don't agree with everything in it.

I like to read fiction but I generally want to spend my free time reading non-fiction instead. When I do get time for fiction I'm a fan of authors like Phillip K. Dick and Robert Ludlum. The best fictional book that I read in the past year was probably "The Power of the Dog."

I read frequently, especially since I discovered that my phone has a free Ebook application filled with free public domain books (including almost every HP lovecraft book).

The authors I read the most are: Terry Pratchett, Douglas Adams, HP Lovecraft, Stephen King and lately, George Orwell.

I'm currently reading "Guards! Guards!" by Terry Pratchett and "Call of Cthulhu" by HP Lovercraft
