Well my mind isn't made up. I played both the BL demo and the U2 beta and they're both awesome.

They're certainly what I'd call the worst part of the game, but even those became a negligible annoyance once I got the hang of them.

Seriously, if Jack Black, Rob Halford, Ozzy Osbourne and Lemmy Kilmister say this game is fucking great, who are you to argue? Buy Brütal Legend! Now!

They were almost game breaking for me. I've never played an RTS in my life so I suck at multitasking and it is such a chore to keep flying back and forth trying to keep everyone doing what you want them to.

I had my ass kicked at the cathedral twice on Gentle difficulty and got so frustrated I had to switch the machine off.

It sucks being put back a whole 40 minutes of play time...

I hate to admit it but I was bitterly dissapointed with BL, and the RTS parts are the main reason.

I don't have the will to learn the intricacies of the system either,because, well it's just not fun.

I had the same dilemna, though I chose brutal legend before going to the store, it turned out brutal legend was some $10 cheaper and for some reason was a higher res on xbox 360 so I went with it, uncharted 2 will have to wait (at least until I've finished playing through my massive "to play" list atop my PS3).

If you love playing the same 6 missions over and over again for a 8 hour story then get Brutal Legend.

Possibly a slightly bias poll, as one is out on all consoles and the other is console exclusive... Ah well.

Completed Uncharted 2 less then an hour ago, and in terms of story it's one of the best I've played. Brutal Legend will be my next purchase. I've heard nothing but good things, but I think it'll have a tough time topping Uncharted.
