Poll: Brütal Legend or Uncharted 2?

Seriously, get it.

Its longer, funnier, is the most Metal game ever AND you get to cut people in half with an Awsome battle axe, as well as blow them up with a magic guitar. Can't go wrong with that.

All of this is true, but the RTS battles are very, very annoying and fiddly.

I try to forget those even happen.

aw, c´mon. they are not even full blown rts-battles. i agree that it´s fiddly but the battles are way too easy and there is no tactic beside get fan geysirs one by one and rush the opponents stage, so it doesn´t really matter. in the end all you have to do is spy a little and spawn new units every once in a while.

Ya, their easy, but other than a different way to do a boss battle, theirs really no point to them. Take the worm at the begining as an example, that was a classic boss battle senario. why couldn't they do that for the whole game.

It could have just been storm general against general in the middle of the field with soldiers fighting around you instead of the RTS crap.

(don't get me wrong, I liked them but they just seemed pointless)

i think they are pointless in a way that they are not really about tactics(in the campaign), because the ai is not clever enough. in multiplayer they make more sense. i agree that there are not enough classic boss battles. and even those are really easy and predictable. they look great, but they are very shallow. i still love the game for everything else though, and because it´s never bad. even the worst of this game is still okay for me compared to other games. it´s sad that they were no more missions like the one where you have to protect that couple on the beach from the fire barons, funny stuff like that...

Everyone complaining about the RTS sections are well... wrong.

They're awesome, the story is great, the characters are great, and the combat is great.

My only complaint is that it's pretty short.

Is there any other personal opinions we should be aware of that are wrong? Please enlighten us so we dare not think for ourselves.

Neither. Rent both and buy Borderlands.

Dude, if it's one thing that I have absolutley NO interest in, it is Borderlands. It looks like fucking shit. Sorry.

Brutal Legend, because after playing through Uncharted 2 and then playing multiplayer, you will forget about buying Brutal Legend.

Both. While Brutal Legend, ultimately, was short and a little stale (but beautiful to look at and very funny), Tim Schafer should be supported 100%.

Uncharted 2 is just flipping amazing.

Brutal Legend, because after playing through Uncharted 2 and then playing multiplayer, you will forget about buying Brutal Legend.
