LibDem, because i've had enough of labour, D. Cameron is c**t, and i'm not a nazi, so the only logical choice is LebDem
i do believe that before labour we had no student finance, so unless you could pay of the debts before hand you couldn't get in. so without labour only the rich would go to uni. also the student loans are the cheapest loans (interest rate wise) you will ever get in your life, and you only have to pay them back as a small percentage of what you earn, around an hours wage a week it works out as, plus you can pay it off quicker if you wish.EMFCRACKSHOT said:Labour are an awfull party. They have roots in socialism for fuck sake. New labour is almost dead so a return to socialism is forseeable. They have massively increased public debt, tuition fees. Thats right, because of them we leave uni with massive debt, i believe 30,000 is average.
Gordon Brown is going to be the 2nd pm to take us over 3 million unemployed. We all remember what happened to the last one dont we, yes we do maggie
Before labour, you did not have to ay and the government gave you grants. People froma any background could go as long as they had the grades. Now, at £3,00 a year, i can barely afford the tuition fees let alone living expenses. And student loans may be cheap, but not as cheap as not having to take them out at all.razer17 said:i do believe that before labour we had no student finance, so unless you could pay of the debts before hand you couldn't get in. so without labour only the rich would go to uni. also the student loans are the cheapest loans (interest rate wise) you will ever get in your life, and you only have to pay them back as a small percentage of what you earn, around an hours wage a week it works out as, plus you can pay it off quicker if you wish.EMFCRACKSHOT said:Labour are an awfull party. Seconded.WrongSprite said:I want the IP of whoever voted BNP.
I say labour. I'd prefer lib dems but they don't have a realistic chance of getting in. Anything to stop the conservatives.
Nobody dosen't deserve free speech. It's just this one particular racist bastard has seen fit to abuse it. The BNP is a facist, evil, cold-hearted organisation.iain62a said:Yes, but that one voter doesn't deserve his freedom of speech. That, or he clicked it by mistake.suckmyBR said:Why? it's got ONE vote.Pr0 InSaNiTy said:Add an option for NONE because all political parties are brainwashing pricks. And you should remove the BNP option.
Anyway, can you add an SNP(Scottish National Party) option?
It's just that nothing functions as it's meant to! First Past the Post is a totally unfair system, there's no Separation of Powers, Parliament's Sovreignty is being completely threatened due to executive dominance (all thanks that Blair and Thatcher) and nothing seems to be quite as nice as it seems XDD I dunno, maybe the new Supreme Court Judiciary will help a bit, but I kinda doubt it D=DC_Josh said:How does it function badly? Not disagreeing with you, as I too think politics is rather interesting.
Also, in answer to the current question, I intend to vote Green Party.
It is quite amazing that Labour did things that would have been unthinkable in the Thatcher era. Can you imagine the shitstorm if Thatcher had tried to introduce tuition fees or privatise the utilities and public transport? It's like they turned out more Tory than the Tories in many ways.EMFCRACKSHOT said:Before labour, you did not have to ay and the government gave you grants. Many of the policies of new laboyr were just follow ons from conservative policy. Barely an origional thought between the bunch.scumofsociety said:It is quite amazing that Labour did things that would have been unthinkable in the Thatcher era.
