Maybe I think about these topics too much but this is a thought that has plagued me for months.

I feel like women have the inside track when it comes to basic sexual seduction. Men will generally flock towards a youthful face, round tits and a nice legs and all the girl would have to do is dress in a way that shows off these assets and look open to conversation.

But what do men have in this area? And, with enough effort, could a man be just as actively appealing to the opposite sex as a woman exercising the same effort?

Well, can they?

All I know is that if a member of the female variety finds you attractive (all the way up to loves you), it can be very easy to seduce them as long as you're in the right situation (As in, alone.) But you'd have to be patient about it. Grabbing them and kissing them doesn't really work.
That's seduction, I think. But what you seem to be asking is attractiveness. Which I don't have any right to talk about. (Me being the way I am)

Just talk to her friends more than her, look bored when when she talks to you and mention your girlfriend.

There you go, seduced.

(yes I'm in a cynical mood)

I haven't felt the touch of a woman and likely never will, so I don't feel like I can really comment on this. And any opinion I have I know is incredibly biased.

Edit: My misguided opinion is that a few men can be, but for most men, no. Probably stemming from the fact that I don't find men attractive and can't see how they can be. Apart from the old spice guy.

Now I'm going to cry in the corner, as I've realised I've turned into a bad forum poster.

I present to you:

Fabio.

Lonely housewives all around the world will eagerly spread their legs for him and fantasize all day about him riding in on a black stallion wearing nothing but a kilt to take them away to the Scottish highlands for some serious highlander loving.

Certainly. But it's not just as; men and women are very different, so the whole sexual seduction works differently.

I've got a couple male friends who are masters at that, just as I know girls who can make a guy fall in love with them in an hour, or want to have sex with her in 2 seconds.

NO! Just... NO!

As to the question, yes, women can be seduced as easily as men. It just takes a different sort of stimulus. I'd say although seduction always involves physical and mental aspects if you can get a to a woman on an emotional level it's easier.

They can yes, but the mastery required for that sort of thing is beyond an Olympic gold medalist, so unless you devoted your life to this cause you don't even come close.

Absolutely. A guy who looks at you the right way, puts on a slow, lazy smile that eventually hits his eyes, moves just right... hell, most women would be in a puddle on the floor. 'Course, I am thinking about a few case-in-point celebrities, but I've known regular guys who can pull it off.
The most seductive thing a regular guy can do? That smile and look in his eyes when he wants you to kiss him but doesn't want to make the first move. Completely flooring and makes a girl think she's the most beautiful creature in the room.

10 million trashy romance novel writers wholeheartedly disagree with you.

If their books are to be believed then the modern world has a serious lack of broadsword wielding bare chested highlanders wearing kilts who are also werepanthers and vampires and sparkle in the sunlight and pirates and cowboys and who knows what else.

And although for totally different reasons I wholeheartedly agree. Reality would me much more amusing after the introduction of thousands of vampiric Scottish werepanthers wielding broadswords.

I am assuming you are a man if you think that's all it takes for us women to attract high-quality attractive male partners that one would actually want to shag.

You know, if I was completely indiscriminate, I could dress up in clothes that my culture says signal sexual availibility and go to one of a number of nightspots known for hookups. It would be easy to pick up and have sex with some guy. But you know, it wouldn't be that much harder for you to do the same thing - have a shower, put on a nice shirt, go to a meat market nightclub and play the game. Or you can pay someone to have sex with you.

I'm more discriminating than that, you probably are too.

...

Thanks. Now we are about to see another crap teen vampire romance series on TV that people won't stop blathering on about.

Though, Scottish werepanthers with broadswords in other contexts would be sorta cool.

If you have no comment, then why the fuck did you bother commenting?
Forums are for discussion, regardless(or even depending) on your bias, as weak or as retarded as it may be.
Who knows, maybe your particular situation could lead to an interesting point of view.
