Easy to say, hard to follow up on. Now i'm assuming you are a console gamer because if you are PC gamer you WOULD have something wrong with IW choice. Think of PC gaming as a race. And dedicated servers are a major part of our culture. Then a bunch of rebels take over the country and take away your right to own property or something. Sorry, i r bad at analogies. And apparantly english too.
I meant that @ the OP, obviously I didn't make it obvious enough.

Not buying something IS the act of boycotting.
Boycott: to engage in a concerted refusal to have dealings with (as a person, store, or organization) usually to express disapproval or to force acceptance of certain conditions.

Just because I'm not buying it doesn't mean that I'm boycotting. There are tons of games in the store that straight up don't interest me, so I'm not going to buy them. I have nothing against the companies themselves and I don't want anything in return.

i'm sorry, but being a pc gamer myself, i'm not whining about them taking away the dedicated servers as i only play on non-dedicated servers.
Then you don't truly understand what is being taken away.
of course i do, but dedicated servers are not needed, and when i did play them they were just filled with loudmouth... lets not say rude words on here, but you get my meaning.

at least with non-dedicated servers i got the same game but with a smaller, better community for those servers

Please take a look at the second definition here:http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/boycott

Boycott also means to abstain from purchasing or using. If you don't buy something you are indeed boycotting it by definition. Common usage not withstanding.

You only talked about the first part of that definition. The full definition says: to combine in abstaining from, or preventing dealings with, as a means of intimidation or coercion. As a means of intimidation or coercion. If I decide that I don't want to buy a Hershey's chocolate bar because I'm not in the mood for it, that's not boycotting. If I don't buy a Hershey's chocolate bar because they kill animals or something, that's boycotting.

I'm not boycotting it, I'm just not buying it. They've done some pretty stupid things with it and I was never going to buy it in the first place. I don't mind people whining about it, I just wish that people defending the game would have gotten that worked up when the Left 4 Dead 2 boycott was announced. At least the Modern Warfare 2 boycott has structure and reason behind it.
Not buying something IS the act of boycotting.

So i'm boycotting everything i don't buy?. Please re-phrase that
Quite literally in fact. One of the definitions of boycott is to abstain from buying or using.
Please explain to me where I limited myself to only the first definition of the term, or otherwise omitted anything? I specifically said to look at the second definition (The one with the number two next to it.) It states
o abstain from buying or using: to boycott foreign products.
further down the page is nothing more than a restating of the first and most common definition of the term.
