I voted for Thor, but as expected, Iron Man is running away with this. So...

Spider-Man!

Screw you guys, I'm voting for Spider-Man.

This is the only obvious solution.
*Spider-Bro fistbump*

Come on, the guy even has his own version of Iron Man's suit.

[HEADING=1]Look at it! Look how awesome it is![/HEADING]
*Spider-Bro fistbump returned*

Its so awesome, it could probably give this arachnophobe nightmares for years to come if it was attached to anyone except Peter Parker!
Well...that suit wouldn't even exist if not for Tony Stark so...I don't remember what else I wanted to say with that. I'm sure it'll come to me when the thread is no longer relevant.

Captain America is clearly superior. He really seems like a legitimate hero who is doing this out of the goodness of his heart, not just because he has the ability to do so. Plus any movie that creates a realistic and legitimately believable reason to put a man in that ridiculous suit when no concept of super hero exists is a good movie inherently.

First Iron Man movie was the best of the lot, second Iron Man movie was the worst (seemed pointless and unnecessary).

After that comes the Hulk, which had great acting and great action, but unfortunately Edward Norton will not be returning as the Hulk in the Avengers.

Next comes Captain America, which had great acting, but extremely forgettable action.

Finally Thor is in last place because the entire movie felt kind of cheap. I mean, there's only 2 locations, one is a shitty little town in the middle of nowhere with like 10 people living in it, and the other is all CGI.

I only saw Iron Man, and I thought it wasn't worth watching.

I haven't seen the other films since they got terrible reviews.
They didn't get terrible reviews...

The majority of the reviews for all the Marvel Superhero movies were positive from what I remember, especially for Captain America.

Iron Man was good, and I found Thor entertaining, though not good in other aspects. Iron Man 2 was rather dreadful to watch though. It was like watching a car crash in slow motion with bad acting.

Captain America was quite boring, stagnating heavily about 1/3rd of the way through. It was okay, but it wasn't great.

Hulk was pretty bad.

Iron Man goes without saying was awesome, one of THE best overall superhero movie reboots. Great action, great enemies, incredible character build up and dialogue was captivating (both humor and drama).

Captain America was just as incredible as Iron Man for pretty much the same reasons.

Those are my choices as superior.

Thor was ok. The CGI was a little much though pretty, I feel like they played it up showing all the scenery a little more often than necessary. Dialogue was pretty great, Ive seen much much worse. Not sure if I would see a sequel in theaters but there's hope.

I dunno what the people who chose Hulk were drinking/smoking but so far everything Hulk has sucked. The first movie was so terrible they had to re-reboot just a couple years later with all new everything. And now in three movies with Hulk, a third actor is playing him. That's sad.

So please keep on making Iron Man and Captain America, be careful with Thor and for the love of everything sacred keep Hulk in Avenger movies only and trash all other projects.

I haven't seen The Hulk, so my pool of choices is somewhat limited. That said, I'm going to go with Thor. Iron Man is a close second, dragged down by the boring and incredibly long fight scene that takes up the second half of the movie. I would gladly have watched an entire movie of Robert Downey Junior and Gwyneth Paltrow snarking at each other, but alas.

Captain America meanwhile feels a little.. airy. Not everything needs a montage showing everything happening everywhere. For a good twenty minutes I had no idea what was going on outside of Captain America going all Captain America on them there nazis. It felt like everything was given so little time to develop and was ultimately solved so quickly that I was left a little unfulfilled. Other than that, it was a solid, fun movie, which brings me to Thor.

Thor didn't really have any major weaknesses that irked me in the same way. The CGI is a little spotty, but I can forgive that. Some of the bits on earth go on for too long, but they're never actually boring. I don't have a third weakness to put here, so this paragraph looks funny. Those are all the flaws I can think of for this particular film.

It's all so appropriate. Everyone is channeling spirits from the elemental plane of ACTING VERY LOUDLY, wearing unapologetically campy and bright costumes and just generally having one hell of a time with the source material. The mythology is so far-fetched and surreal, yet everyone is so perfect for their roles that you can't help but believe it.

[sub]Also, I'm not too proud to admit that Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman are incredibly sexy.[/sub]

I went with Iron Man.
Just love the guy and I actually like all the movies that are options in the poll but somehow he just has the edge in this one.

I like Spider-Man...

I'm with you there.
No really, fucking Spider Man was the best.

That or Captain America.
Either or works.
But Spider Man is instantly better due to the meme.

Of the ones on the list, Iron Man, definitely.

Of Marvel movies, Spiderman 1 and 2.

Of superhero movies, Batman Begins.

No offense to those of you who like it, but I didn't like Captain America much at all. Almost no character development, plot was pretty weak, and the main character was...Well, just too Mary-Sue I suppose. He seemed more invincible than Superman, and he was just too "good" at what he did. Nothing ever gave him trouble, he never really got hurt, and the final "Boss fight" was just really...Lame. Just my opinion though.

Hulk was alright, probably as good as a Hulk movie will ever get, but certainly not a favorite.

Thor was the funniest of the bunch, and I liked most of the characters and plot, but there should have been an extra 10-20 minutes in the middle somewhere. More of the whole "Proving his worth" thing. It was pretty much all over in one scene. Also, I doubt a sequel will be very good, because the only reason the first movie was any good was because he didn't have any power for the majority of the movie! *SPOILER ALERT* He gets his power back at the end of the movie *SPOILER ALERT* and I'm not a fan of invincible characters, so I doubt I'll like Thor 2.

Iron Man was pretty good though. It had characters, plot, character development, the main character wasn't the typical goodie goodie hero, the main character wasn't invincible, and the acting was good.

I didn't like Iron Man 2 very much though. It seemed like it couldn't decide whether to try and be dark and gritty, or lighthearted and silly. The main character was just annoying, the plot was meh, and the final battle was pretty dull.

It seems to me like the Marvel movies made in preparation for the Avengers all seem to be a lower quality than the previous ones. Spiderman 1 & 2, the Xmen movies, Hulk, and Iron Man 1 were all better(IMO) than the newest bunch, Thor, Iron Man 2, and Captain America.

Just my opinion though.

Captain America and Iron Man.

Cap because that was the first movie to make me feel patriotic and I still get teary eyed when he leads the troops back, and Iron Man because... well c'mon, who wouldn't want that suit?

Iron man. I really didn't like Captain America. The Red Mask just seemed too ridiculous and fake looking.
Also, I'm not a big comic book guy so I don't know if this has already been explained somewhere but....
How is Thor not going to overshadow all of the other Avengers?! He's a God who can fly around and basically kill thousands of things without breaking a sweat. Is he going to be severely weakened?

Iron Man won it for me. I dunno, the way the suit comes onto him, like when he steps atop the suitcase and it turns into the Iron Man suit.

That and Tony Stark's personality is quite appealing.

Then I suggest you don't dig out that early 90's version of Captain America.

In the comics, Thor is constantly getting his ass kicked. He's actually "dead" now...again. He did one of those self sacrificing type things to die though. Still, I've seen Thor get his ass handed to him. Red Hulk beat him silly.
