I'm a cat person. My family has both a cat and a dog and they're both nice but if I were to get a pet of my own it would be a cat. I like their independence and the fact that you don't have to walk them.

A dog will love you, acompany you, protect you, it will even feel with you when you are sick, cats do none of those things ((i have never owned a cat but i know people who do so my information on how cats act are pretty limited))

And a female dog have more balls than 800 male cats on a testosterone trip.

Also, watching 3 or 4 dogs running around and play with eachother on an open field is pure, 100% golden.

My family has a couple of smallish dogs, about 30 pounds, and a medium sized one whose about 60 pounds.
I've watched those dogs take down a deer, before.

Yeah, but they smell and eat their own crap. I had dogs once, and they wrecked several years of my life. To be fair though, they were beagles. And theyre only loyal cos they are thick!
But cats are cuuuuute. Especially when they try to look dignified as they play with a piece of string!

Wow. Was all that really necessary? I guess those dogs really did wreck your life. Anyway I like dogs. I find cats annoying. Yeah, they have their own personality and I respect that. But if I want a pet, I want a dog who'll be there to take my mind off everything else I have going on for a while. I honestly don't see a cat doing that for me.
