I don't mind a beard of mustache but chesthair would make me never take my shirt off in public.

I mean when you're at the beach so stop staring at me like that >.>

My boyfriend's does too :) And I love it. Too much is gross though so, OP, it depends.

It all depends. I like a little chest hair, but not too much.
<--- Also, if you are this guy, you can't go wrong :)

I don't think it's unmanly to shave/wax chest hair. It easily takes out any definition you might have going on, and my massively masculine chest hair usually bugs the hell out of me. An ex-girlfriend waxed it for the first time some years ago. After that I've shaved it myself whenever it's getting out of control, or for whatever reason, because body hair isn't one of my favorite things, although I'm not at all obsessed about it.

I'm a hairy grown man so I can trim or not trim my body hair however I feel like. It grows back in a fairly swift manner anyways. Having that said, I've won some comparison contest between friends with the manliest chest hair, but most of the time I actually keep it smooth and clear.

I find chesthair on females totally attractive. *nods*

Seriously, I dated a girl once with a few long, black squigglies around a certain area. I was... shocked to say the least.

I have it and proud of it (although I don't look like a gorilla, it's just the right amount imo ). I don't have anything against those who shave it, because on some people it does look better like that I'll admit.

It's not about the hair, it's about how it's distributed.

I've got some fuzz myself, nothing that you would call a rug, but an adequate amount nonetheless. The problem though is that I got some hair on my shoulders too.

I would never shave it though. I'm okay with stubble on my face, but on my body where my clothes can chafe against it? No thanks.

Plus, I think shaving your chest is freaking gay. Unless ofcourse you happen to be Robin Williams.

I have a hairy chest. I don't consider shaving it unmanly, but I do consider it a pain. My ex used to hate hairy chests, so I'd actually use hair removal cream (better than shaving IMO) but my g/f now likes it, so I've stopped that since.

For whatever reason, my chest hair is naturally in the shape of a bunny rabbit, much to the love of women and admiration of men, so no complaints :p
Lucky.

I've got very little hair on my chest and I'm happy for that. My ass on the other hand...
hahahha i laughed at this, which i am in a very similar situation...

i do have some hair on my chest, and i think it looks gross, so i shave it off (only grows back to the same length roughly once a month, if that)

however, my underside...good god, you'd swear something died in there and my ass hair ate it.
Unlucky. lol man, it sounds like you have it worse than I do.
haha i over played that, by golly jee i do have ass hair but its actually quite "uniform" with the rest of of everything else so it actually doesn't look "bad"

I'm so preposterously hairy in any case, it'd be an entirely futile effort to start. Lasses I've been with have necessarily been fans, as such.

Don't have any. If I did, I would shave it. What I have got, however, is European genes. Which means my body could turn on me at any moment.
I'm 20, and my fingers are crossed.

I'd have voted complete nay, until I met my now significant other, who doesn't really sport all that much chest hair, just a short little bit that feels really, really soft :3

Real men have chest hair! Haha jk jk. But seriously, I think men should have chest hair. If you've got it, flaunt it. I mean it can be ridiculous and make you a man-bear. But for example I have a nice big patch basically from nip to nip and a "magic trail" down the middle. I'd never shave it.

Back hair is a whole other issue tho. Back hair isn't nice for anyone lol.
