For whatever reason, my chest hair is naturally in the shape of a bunny rabbit, much to the love of women and admiration of men, so no complaints :p
Lucky.

I've got very little hair on my chest and I'm happy for that. My ass on the other hand...
hahahha i laughed at this, which i am in a very similar situation...

i do have some hair on my chest, and i think it looks gross, so i shave it off (only grows back to the same length roughly once a month, if that)

however, my underside...good god, you'd swear something died in there and my ass hair ate it.
Unlucky. lol man, it sounds like you have it worse than I do.

The contrast just seems like it would be weird, you know? Unfortunately, this sounds like it needs an outside opinion.
It's not that unusual or strange looking. Hairy legs are pretty much a given on decently brunette white guys* (you are white, right?) but not everyone gets significant chest hair. I dated a guy who only shaved his chest and the contrast between his belly hair and smooth chest was the real "huh?" factor. He was "pectacular"(favorite new word) though, so he gets a pass.

Edit: Brown people too.

Wait, what makes you think I'm white? Because I am not, at all.

The majority of of this forum come from countries where white people represent a majority. And you're still "Caucasian" for whatever that means, just brown-type Caucasian. That's why I edited after I checked your profile.

As a brown person there's less of an opportunity for contrast in general. I unfortunately won the contrast lottery with dark hair from the brown side of my family combined with whiteness. :(

My boy friend has some chest hair, so I guess it doesn't bother me. Unless it's too much like Chuck Norris lol.

Well, I'm Hispanic mixed with other races, but nothing white as far as I'm aware. I look white though.

The majority of women that have an issue with chest hair are little girls that have never been with a real man. RAWR!
hah ha ha, yeah, that's probably true in my case, since I've barely grown to any height and am pretty thin and young looking. The best I'll get is some androgenous RPG look-alike.

SIGH.

Chuck Norris chest hair is just a weakness for Bruce Lee to exploit.

Assuming that a man has average chest hair, then it's fine (from this woman's perspective) =).

The problem, lads, is *back* hair. Back hair is just...urgh...no... =S

I've got hair on my chest and it will be a cold day in hell before I shave it off.

I find it highly annoying when the 'modern male' image is a man with all his hair shaven off.. I mean seriously.. It's genetic defined.. And if I were to shave my body every single day I would go insane within the first week..

But I'm confident in my body and it shows and pays off

It figures I have to live in the era where signs of masculinity are a bad thing.

I'm masculine, I'm dominate, I have some but not an obscene amount of body hair (Some I keep trimmed), and all that seems to make me unacceptable to a lot of people today.

No kidding. Remember when a lot of women wanted the "metrosexual man"? Turns out they really didn't want that and a lot of guys ended up looking foolish.

I've never shaved my chest hair on the pure fact that I never go swimming, never take my shirt off in front of people, or show it.

My chest hair is naturally light and short, so I don't have to shave, but I still have just the right amount of chest hair. I also got that soul patch belly button trail thing, which is thicker than the rest. Overall if I had to choose between an average amount of chest hair and shaven, I'd shave it.

My husband has a very hairy chest and I find it attractive. He wears undershirts so he always looks neat and professional, but I know there is a secret wild man lurking inside.

I do not like men with hairy chests who wear tank tops or shirts unbuttoned to their navels. That is just tacky.

God yes.. They must have felt pretty fucked over hahaha.
But the thing is, it's not the hair that scares a girl away. Sub-consciously they are attracted to it.
