Now that you've answered...the point of my question. Is this question not the question of ones personal belief on Evolution vs creationism.

It's simple...chicken comes first and wasn't born from an egg. God put it here. You believe creationism governs life.

Egg comes first.....That egg is the first evolved chicken. When this hatches, the first chicken will have entered the world. (or the first chicken zygote if you must)

Let's just say 'I don't know' goes to Agnostics and Athiests.

So what did you put? Be honest, does it follow your religious beliefs?

Egg... Why? Because no one ever specifies that it is a chickens egg.

EDIT: I am eating Ferero Rochets right now, I just felt you might like to know... Mmmmm, tasty.

If we're talking about any kind of egg generally, then the egg came first, but no other animal other than a chicken would lay a chicken egg.

I say the basic elements and sub atomic particles came first
When they came together did they form a chicken or a single cell organism?
There's your answer.

Egg. But it never hatched. I ate it for Breakfast. But I cooked it bad, so I threw it up as a chicken.

That is the unknown truth in this all.
But that leads to more questions... How did it become a chicken after you already broke the shell and cooked it (regardless of how well you did so.) AND answering that... Was the chicken also cooked with a nice seasoning and some gravy with mashed potatoes, yorkshire pudding, peas and stuffing?

Actually it would. Evolution is the reason the egg came first.

Start my post with Evolution > creationism.
The egg would be laid by a similar bird to the chicken and hatch a new bird and that bird would lay an egg and that egg would hatch into a new bird and that process would go on for thousands of years until finally one of those eggs hatch into a "chicken"

Nope. Mutation is the reason the chicken comes first. And then the newborn mutation will lay eggs containing the same mutation.

Obviously the egg came first I mean, how far back does the chicken go?
The dinosaurs had eggs, there was no chickens when there was dino's.
I bet there was even eggs before the dinosaurs, I just don't know what egg-laying creatures pre-dates the dinos

Thats what evolution is though....so manaman understood it correctly.

No. He understands that it's the egg itself that evolves, which is completely wrong.
