Yeah, why are they bothering kids? What do the high school students have to do with legal same sex marriage?

Because it gets attention. Just protesting in the street is one thing, but doing it outside a school grabs more attention from the media and thats what these people feed on.

Its just like their protests outside soldiers funeral. Because they where outside funerals it got more media attention than if they had protested on a day when no funerals where planned.

I'm torn as to what the response should be, yes on the one hand giving them atention of any kind is what they want, however i also believe that truly evil people like them need to be opposed at every turn.

As much as I hate those crazies at that church, they are 'demon'strating their rights to free speech (see what I did there? It's a pun!). But I get the feeling that once people start to ignore them, they are going to do something worse than just protest. Tricky subject.

As for your other point, I'm all for homosexual marriage. The US shouldn't stifle diversity and deny people their basic rights based on yadda yadda yadda, you've heard all this before.

Two of my male friends made out with each other behind a guy who was protesting against gays. The guy couldn't work out why a huge crowd had suddenly formed and started laughing XD

And there's slander, insult, persecution.

Yes, because there are absolutely no fuck ups in "normal" families. And no great people coming out of a single parent family.

Just get it through your head... There are good parents, and bad parents. Their gender or sexuality doesn't play any real role in it.
