Anyways, I have no idea why people made it TABOO, but I dislike the idea as well.
My cousin was very attracted to me.
Too much really, she kept trying to touch my genitals and Thank god Batman (Bring it on WBC!) I know how to hide in the shadows when I need to.

Anyways, the idea just sounds wrong.

Obviously family breeding causes problems, but ruling out a pregnancy (lots of birth control nowadays) is there something about the relationship itself that is harmful? Thoughts, guys?

Once you take out the whole "breeding" issue, I think its still a bit of a taboo because you are sort of dividing the family. Kind of like how you might have a group of friends who all hang out together, and then two of the group start going out with each other. It can sometimes feel like those two have formed a group within the group.

That's true, but I don't imagine people in this kind of relationship would be very public about it. If it was kept secret, only between the two of them, that problem kind of goes away.

Anyway, when your friends start dating each other, it is kind of hard to handle, but that doesn't mean it's wrong to date your friends. It's just one of those awkward things that everyone has to sidestep and get used to.

Maybe. I do actually have a cousin who is super hot, which makes this kind of hard. I wouldn't want to build a romantic relationship with her, but a physical one wouldn't be all that bad, as long as it was short term.
