I say go for it, provided you're prepared for the consequences. Before you jump in the pool, though, be sure you have a sit-down with her and TALK. I mean, *really* talk, about what the relationship would be about, what it's based on, what you both expect from it, how you both feel about the other, the best- and worst-case scenarios, and whether or not you're both prepared to deal with what may come. In essence, plan for the worst and hope for the best.

Go for it, if you realy like her and she's likes you the same way. Who cares what society thinks perception change over time what is seen as wrong now might not be in a few years. I wouldn't even date someone who wasn't related to me.
But still, I actually think the whole taboo about dating blood relatives is moot, nowadays. With the birth of the contraceptive, you don't have to worry about freaky fish babies with twelve toes or whatever. So there isn't really much of a problem.

I don't really care what relatives do, because when I look at family, I see a bunch of normal people. Granted, I'd really rather not people have inbred children, as the chance of genetic mutation is a bit too great, but I don't give a damn about other people's relationship choices.
I would also like to know what's so gross about it. I mean hell, they're just people. If someone else isn't weirded out by their relationship choice, then I really shouldn't care.

The best advice i can give you is meet her privately tell her that you have feeling for her and that you want take things easy and see what happens. Just go on small dates, like go for walks and hold hands that way no one will catch on and if things go sour no one will be hurt.Sacman said:

I do want to further explain what I said previously. It seems like this is getting started for the wrong reasons. As someone else said, talking and removing all doubt is the only way to go through this unscathed. Family isn't just something you throw away, and if it doesn't work out, you've basically thrown your cousin away for no reason.
