Poll: Damn,2012 is becoming true..Or is it...

It looks like 2012 is coming true...Why is the earthquwake in Japan,the radiation,and the star explosion in 2004 (it really did happen,look in to it),it looks like the end days are coming true!I really dont know what to think,maybe its just the end of Japan..(then the ancient mayans where Japanese!)What do you think??

Because I'm lazy, I'm just going to cut and paste my response to this exact same thread the last time it came up (which incidentally, was 9 days ago):

I've said it before on these forums and I'll now say it again: if the Mayans knew shit about shit they would have ended their calendar in 1697 when the Spanish handed to them their ass on a plate.

That made me lol. In fairness though, they were really advanced for their time. Lacking military forces, however.

I think people are being a little harsh on this 2012 thing. I mean, sure, even the Mayans weren't saying the world is going to end then, but why should that stop me from having a big end of the world party? As a bonus, if the Mayans turn up and say "hey, who are we to decide what our culture is? Lets end end the world so those people who predicted it don't look like idiots" then I'll be partying with my friends up until the last moment. Win/Win situation.

Events like this only come round every 8-12 years or so, so make the most of it!

The Mayan calendar said NOTHING about the end of life, it just ended! They gotta run outta room sometime, also, maybe it's because THEY ALL DIED!? They coulda just not been done!

I dunno if I can be disproved about the amount of room or when they stopped updating it compared to when they were wiped out, soooo could somebody prove me wrong or back me up? Thanks, these are just some theories I have that I haven't gotten around to do the research, but anyways it never said anything about the end of the world. Perhaps the end of days (on their calender that is -corny joke- )

Actually the world is supposed end sometime in May this year as well, so HA HA 2012ers!
