I'm certainly going to go through the campaign at least once more, on Legendary difficulty to unlock that Achievement and to give myself a real work-out, to find the last half-dozen or so audio recordings in the game. Once I learned how to use the Superintendant's real-time tactical display I found I really enjoyed sweeping the streets.
Ah, does the map reveal the locations of the recordings? Or do you have to do it by sight only?
No, though I see how my phrasing might inadvertantly suggest that.

I meant that looking at the city map and seeing, in real time, where the Covenant patrols are and therefor picking whether to fight or run makes the search a lot less nerve-wracking.

The map itself doesn't mark out recording locations; those you still have to find in first person. You can use the map to look at the city layout, though, and figure out where you haven't been... and then if you're close to a recording, the Superintendant will find a way to catch your attention. (Keep watching the signs, and look (and listen!) for hyperactive machinery in the viscinity; also, VISR will highlight a recording site in your line of sight with a strong yellow outline.)

Halo 3 ODST started out very good. Atmosphere was nice, music suited and the characters were somewhat likeable.

It didn't stop that way, the second half bored me senseless. That game should have been half the size, and just DLC.

Any ways, yeah I totally agree here, I have a friend who plays halo non stop come to my house and play BF2.. he nearly shat him self when I said charging the enemy head on in wake, with a shot gun is a bad idea.

Or that shooting standing up makes your aim worse.

And didn't grasp the concept of 3 bullets kill.

It's actually very funny to watch >:).

did not vote because I haven't played yet. How different is the character as compared to the Chief?

1)Does this game have different recoil for weapons as compared to the Chief?
2)Are you still strong enough to flip a vehicle over by yourself?
3)Is there different quantities to the amount of ammo you can carry as compared to the Chief?
1) Yes, the SMG skitters a bit and the pistol starts travelling upwards if you fire it quickly.
2) Yes.
3) No.

I see the ads about this game and it tells me that in this game I'm not the chief. Is the only change is the lack of regenerating health and the decreased damage for enemies? That doesn't sound like I'm not a superman in a suit... just a gimped superman in a suit.
You also take falling damage and the enemies seem more imposing because you're not as tall.

I wish there were an apathy vote. I don't like Halo, nor do I dislike it. Halo is where I am not.

I loved the Halo games, almost as much as Vrex, and I thought ODST was marvelous. Just a bit of tweaking to the formula did it a lot of good in my opinion.

Ugh...these kinds of posts are incredibly irritating. They're different types of games. Playing Halo does not mean your unintelligent, it means you like Halo.

I thought they did it pretty well. Took around 6 hours on legendary to finish it, however I have not bothered trying to collect those audio tapes yet.

The price was a bit of a disappointment. But seeing as I didn't have any of the map packs that required money, It wasn't such a bad investment as it would be for some.
