Why the fuck not? It's free and 70 people can win, that gives me an okay chance. So, yes, I did sign up.
Hell yeah. I love Planetside.
Sadly though, it's been on a steady decline because of a lack of players (I don't understand why SoE did away with Planetside Reserves). But, since there's a guaranteed 70vs70vs70, I'm definitely interested. It'd be a lot better if it were more than 100 per team though.
NC gets best support vechs, though the TR guns are pretty nice.

how long will the war go for and can people who miss out just join in through the 14 day trials?
the event runs for two weeks ... effectivly the escapest just has 70 'spechal'trial keys that are linked to the event.
yes you can make a 14 day trial but your score will not count for this event but a dead player cant score! ^^
as far as tech specs,

I've signed up, it looks awesome. It's website is great (you should visit it it helps). The Faction we are playing as (The Terran Republic) look great. We shall show rock,paper,shotgun and boing boing who's the boss!
