Well when I was younger, my next door neighbors, which included a girl, would come over to my house and play Super Smash Bros with me. We all had fun playing the game.

For some reason I can't see the poll, but I'm going to go out on a limb here and gamble with, some girls will like it, some boys will like it. Since gender tends not to define gaming tastes, and in fact personal, individual preferences define gaming tastes.
Personally I hate the whole concept of Nintendo consoles, so by association I hate Super Smash Bros. It's also a boring game to me. Abstract button mashing that doesn't appeal to me. My girlfriend however loves it and is always trying to convince me to play it with her.
I'm a lady, and I love Super Smash Bros. But just like any other game, there'll be some girls (or boys) that like it, and some don't.
Huh. I honestly would have thought it'd be more the other way around. Anyroad, personally I didn't particularly like it as much as I thought I would. The fact that I don't normally enjoy playing fighter games was more than likely why but I also generally don't like anything on the Wii. I just can't get used to it so I stick with the 360 and PS3!

A few of my friends are girls and they both love Smash Bros. On the other hand there were two girls at my school I showed it too once and they didn't like it at all, they weren't gamers though and found it a bit too chaotic. A few other girls at my school love Smash Bros though, so I suppose it depends on the girl.
My girlfriend and I love SSBB. She's a lot better at it than I am, which makes my occasional victory all the sweeter.
How the hell should we know? That's like asking do guys like pizza? I'm sure some don't and i'm sure some do, but it depends on the guy.

Yeah I have a female friend who loves SSB and often beats me in it. Also one of my best friends girlfriend plays it as well, but she bitches about the way I play all the time so I tend to avoid her.
I'm a girl and I just played with my brother. I suck horribly at it though. I need to practice more.
