I love Smash Bros. I always play it with my friends whenever I get the chance. All of my friends love it too, boys and girls included.

I enjoyed playing Super Smash Bros on the N64 with friends and my sister as it happens.
It's good for a bit of anger release but I wouldn't say it's my favourite type of game. Points in its favour though include you get to play as Pikachu.

As a wise facebook group once said 'always be yourself, unless you can be pikachu, always be pikachu'.

Fighting games are boring button mashing. I couldn't care less about most of those Nintendo characters, even the ones that I do recognize.

One of my friends met her fiance at a Smash Bros. tournament and still plays competitively.

This is not a gender thing.

Never found the appeal, despite the fact numerous people said I 'should' love it for loving Street Fighter

Well my wife plays it, as does a female friend of mine, as well as her 3 sisters, along with about 20 of their female friends. But my female friend plays video games, Magic the Gathering, watches anime, watches Doctor Who, watches Star Trek, and plays D&D. Oh wait so does my wife. I have a great life.
