Absolutely yes, and I'm not ashamed to admit it.

The thing that seems odd for people to be talking about, however, is whether or not men try to make conversation out of it -- which wasn't part of the question.

Yes, men think about sex almost all the time.

No, they don't try to make the conversation all about sex. We aren't quite as single minded as we're portrayed, though admittedly not far off.

You can disregard the notion all you want and try to portray yourself as a decent and unsullied innocent, but the majority of all men can't help but picture most activities as sexual almost instinctively. A woman eating a banana? Sex. A woman walking down the street in tight jeans? Sex. A woman climbing a flight of stairs? Sex.

Hell, I've had my mind turn to sex by the act of preparing a salad - don't even remember how.

It's nothing to be ashamed of, and frankly I'm certain women think about sex a good deal too - if for different reasons and in different scenarios. After Survival, it's the first instinct of any human to procreate. It doesn't help that it feels so damn good.

Edit: And, it was a self proclaimed woman who started this conversation in the first place. :D

Just noticed, you spelled intelligent wrong.

The irony hurts man. Go download Google Chrome, it has a built in spellchecker, so that you don't embarrass yourself further.
Uh, no he didn't...

Mind sticking your nose somewhere else? I'm happy to wait for your apology.

Men and Women think about sex equally, its just that in the case of women, its not considered "lady-like" to talk about sex so its mostly kept on the down-low. While in the case of men, its often looked as a sign of manliness to talk about sex amongst ones peers.

While this is changing due to traditional gender-roles going the way of the dinosaur, this notion that men (and ONLY men) think about sex every other minute stems from these archaic values of manliness and lady-likeness.

You're a quick quoter ;) I corrected it almost instantly (hell, it's spelt correctly in your very quote, a good thing I admitted to it or you would look like a bit of a fool :p). Although I wouldn't really consider a typo embarrassing.

And in answer to your previous quote, yes I do enjoy putting smug smarty-pants back in their places. By that point the rest of your post was invalid.

You need to chill out ;)
\It's cool I can exert myself, work up a bit of a sweat, and consume 3 seconds of my time to take a screencap of your message in my inbox.

I should chill out? I'm not mad mate, I'm just trying to childishly 'show you' by proving you wrong. I guess you can just call me a 'smug smarty-pants' though, good comeback pal.

Tbh? Not much at all. I often go days without the thought. Then again, they are days when I'm more focused on school or just enjoying myself, and sex usually isn't a part for iether.

I'm confused, confuzzled even.

How does you thinking about sex reflect on all men?

And exactly what do you base your statement of "After Survival, it's the first instinct of any human to procreate" on? Did you capture a wandering group of humans, provided their basic needs of survival and watched as they started getting it on all night long?

Or maybe you developed a mind reading technology allowing you to closely monitor a statistically representative group of human males you captured and put in a strictly controlled natural human environment?

No... A vast majority of the time men think of Absolutely Nothing. Our minds are quiet often blank and empty thinking about nothing.

Guy here, I don't think/ talk about sex all the time. In fact I pretty much never talk about it, occasionally think about it, but mainly I just do it... No need to over think things. However, to be fair, I've heard some types of girls that all they do is talk about sex and boys (or whatever their fancy)... very loudly... on the bus... and they're 14/15... Would it be fair to say from that that girls think about sex every other minute?

Nope, its just a silly trope.

While I can't speak for all men, I can say that I can go days without thinking about it.

I only think about sex when I see a girl. When she's pretty I think about having sex with her and when she's ugly I think about how I don't want to have sex with her. These thought processes usually last about 2 seconds, maybe a bit longer if the girl is really pretty.

It's a frequent topic, but every other minute? Of course not. First we have to spend about five minutes being manly to get our points across.

Every other minute is a different thought.

You could say no man has gone a day without thinking about sex, but I pretty much believe that could happen to any woman. I personally don't oogle girls, I'm just not interested how that girl's ass can look with that pair of pants, that's what porn is there for, NO PANTS!

more or less, yes. we like sex, it feels great like hitting crak cocain, so of course we think of it all the time, but it's secondary to anything esle we have to think about. but it's alway second to what we have to think of atm.

Depends on the person: really immature guys never shut up about it, but most of us have better things to do.
