I suppose it depends on who you're kissing.
I have quite a small mouth so kissing can be kinda awkward until I get into the rhythm of it.
I do enjoy it though, it's nice to know someone is interested in you.
I haven't kissed properly in months which makes me sad but I guess next time will be special.

I'm a dude and the only reason I bother with kissing is because my girlfriend is so into it. I find it just doesn't really do anything for me.

Kissing is awesome, but only if it's done well and the other person hasn't got bad breath from smoking, throwing up, or foul cheese.

The theory goes that it's supposed to boost our immune systems by swapping whatever is living inside our mouths, so I guess there's some sort of biological feel-good factor for it? I've never really cared about the mechanics of it.

I've read that it's a pheromone thing, and that it's by being that close your subconscious detects certain smells that trigger arousal.

I like kissing, always have. I think my girlfriends in the past have liked it, but of course they could have been lying.

Listening to other female friends talk about it it seems that a lot of them like certain types of kissing, and have the misfortune of meeting guys who either can't kiss like that, or don't for whatever reason.

That's probably the case, but I want to see if there are any other possible reasons.

Well 16 year old guys are not that experienced in kissing so they are likely to suck at it. 16 year old guys are also likely to be kissing someone while being very impatient getting to handle boobs and have sex so they don't care about not being good kissers and don't put any effort into it.

OT: Personally I am a fan! Although circumstance has lead to the fact that I have only had one drunken kiss in the last year!

I like the fact it can compliment whatever mood is portrayed at the time... it can be passionate or subtle, fun n jokey or serious, fast or slow, long or short and all is good!

*guy* I personally love kissing my girlfriend to show my affection for her, and to say goodby. She is kind of wierd about it though. She likes kissing me, and gets upset when she has sores in her mouth (regularly), and will say "I really wanted to give you a kiss D:"....but at the same time, she says that whenever someone kisses her, "It feels like they are trying to eat my face off." It doesnt matter who. Parents, me, anyone. She says that. She is willing to overlook it for me because I am her boyfriend...doesnt change the fact she loves it and doesnt like it at the same time.

I kiss my girlfriend as often as I can(as long as it's appropriate), and used to kiss people at every chance I got when I was single(I'm quite a slut). Yeah, I enjoy kissing. And I can't recall ever talking to anyone claiming that they don't enjoy kissing.

That being said, there are certain individuals I've kissed that were downright horrible kissers, but that's individuals. And screw those individuals.
