Most people usually get it but I'll get taken the wrong way all the time. Like the time I worked at Taco Bell and we had a running joke that I killed people for pleasure,I Don't,but a girl got freaked out a bit and me and the manager had to have a talk.

I think it's because I have a serious face and stay quite that people take me too seriously which sucks because I'm usually so unserious.

No. People wonder what's wrong with me. Like when I tell people "DUDE, THAT'S A KEWL HAT!" when they aren't wearing a hat. I laugh, they go "WTF?"

But on track, no. No one has ever laughed at me when they weren't family or close friends.

I'm an outcast. *SNIFF* *Sings "Nobody Likes Me"*

My jokes tend to be bad puns, laden with nerdy pop-culture references. Only my friends get them... and oddly, my last manager. We move product around the store on these things called U-boats. I always ask, "where do you think they make these?" He's the only one in 7 years that said 'Germany?'. I was pretty happy that day.

Meh, My friends think I'm hilarious...generally, people my age , and those I choose to affiliate myself with think I'm rather funny...My parents however, have been told on several occasions that my time in the comedy-store or in clubs doing stand-up has been terrific. But they just dont find me funny...hell, my Dad resents me for not being a man's man, and instead being whimsical and silly. That's life though :)

Depends who I'm talking to, some people miss refrences or don't even realize i'm joking and think i'm pretty weird for saying something like that.

So I try keep my humour to stuff that's happening around me.

People have a tendency to laugh at things I say or do, yes. Even when I try to be serious. Maybe it's because I sometimes talk about pretty banal and stupid things as if they meant the whole world.

But I can make people laugh at my own merits. I can say funny things. Jokes and such. Say a witty comment or make a funny face at just the right time. But I never could pull off the "a priest walks into a bar"-kind of telling a joke where you memorize a story whole story with punchline.

Also: my jokes never go over ones head; much more often they're way below. But never in an uppsetting way. All right, so maybe me and my friends can go way overboard sometimes with our very politically incorrect humour. But we keep that to ourselves - to protect all the well meaning people out there from our violent bursts of stupidity and foulness.

No, not at all. My jokes are filled with references to inane things and slight condescension of everything. No one gets me but my wife, who thinks I'm too funny to talk sometimes. Around everyone else I have to hold back, a lot.

Edit: I can make people laugh by the way I tell stories, if I'm inclined to. I usually don't care though.

Most of the time people do. There are those rare jokes i make that most don't get and i have to explain them...and by the end they lose their luster and get boring.
This is me. Stupid audiences ruining perfectley crafted jokes. I mean its not like they were made for them!!!

I have a very dark sense of humor that most don't understand. Fucking with their minds is the bonus to it though.

Rather depends on the person. I have this tendency to combine wit, sarcasm, and silliness together in one. Some people get it, some people don't.

I have instead of humour this nasty habit of overusing bad jokes (that were thought up by my friends) and utterly destroying the good ones (that were thought up by my friends) with miniguns and nuckear flames.

It has worked for me since third grade mind you.

I generally get laughter whenever I tell a joke unless I accidentally slur my words and they miss it.
