Poll: Do Wii fanboys exist?

Pretty misguided thread as there are two questions being asked. There will be a definitive answer for the first, but an opinionated answer for the second.

I agree completely. I call myself a hardcore gamer, yet I still play casual games as well. My mum had a Wii for Christmas from my dad, since she's been going on about getting one for over a year. It was bundled with Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort. I played them both and enjoyed them greatly, I thought they were much more fun than some of the other 'hardcore' games I've played recently. It's by no means my favourite, and I'm not a Wii fanboy, but the Wii is still an extremely good console that's sadly been let down by some (not many, but some) third party developers.Hubilub said:

Yes, they exist, but generally they lack the intelligence to type or use computers to make themselves known.
If that's the case, then most certainly yes, and I'm one of them. I love those series, and sadly with the release of Mario Galaxy 2 and Metroid: Other M coming up, I'll have to buy a Wii again.Manji187 said:

So, I own a wii, am I a fanboy or just someone who has sold his soul to promises? I hopes some great games would visit and say hi, but so far the realy good titles skipped the wii and ran to XBox 360 and PS3... Not to mention my PC, if anything bigger than a flashgame plays she will whine and wheeze like a guy without lungs on a treadmill...

I am not a Wii fanboy, but I know plenty of them. They usually get around in zimmerframes, or tell me cut my hair. No! Bad Melas!
Yes, I know Wii fanboys/girls, and they are just as aggravating as any other fanboy, I usually find them even more annoying when they tout the Wii based off other consoles (comparing graphics, comparing games). Seriously, I don't like the thing but I can see it has new features which could be considered innovative (I'm trying to be unbiased, I really am), so why not harp on about them? Fanboy the Wii for being a different console, thus making it better through innovation, don't compare it to the PS and 360, there's no point!
