No and I'm very disappointed that I did not see a nice long line extending from the 'no' category.
This times two for me.
I thought you were better than that escapist...*sigh*
Well, oh well, to each their own I suppose.

I remember when I did believe in ghosts as a kid. Holy cripes that was a terrifying phase.

I believe in ghosts, demons, angels, that sort of thing, may have something to do with my religious beliefs, and partly to do with the belief I've believed I have seen a ghost when I was younger. Obviously it's difficult to say nowadays what I saw, but I do believe, basically, there is a little more than what we can see in this world. At the very least I cling to the hope we don't just rot. In the same vein, I believe in a spiritual energy, a sort of chi or ki, or simple belief there is a soul in all living things.

I guess a simple Yes would have sufficed. <_<

To a degree. Used to be fairly sceptical, but read a book a few years back that made me hesitate. Can't remember the name right now but it was the accounts of a similarly sceptical British journalist going all over the world to write a story about the people who affiliated themselves with ghost hunting and such. He felt that most of them were either slightly unhinged or outright frauds, but he did run into things which he couldn't easily explain and that intrigued me.

I feel there is so much to this world that we don't know. And to claim that something like possession or otherwordly spirits are impossible is rather short sighted. That said a lot of people go way too far with it and charlatans abound.

I've put very unlikely, because while I'd like to believe in that sort of thing, I've seen nothing that can't be explained in physical terms.

Well, something did the things that we think are ghosts. Until we know for sure, I'll take the only alternitive I'm given, blind belief, the worst kind.

Since the usual definition of ghosts is "spirits of previously deceased people," I say no to ghosts. I say yes to angels and demons. There are definitely spirits in this world, but they are not of those who have passed on.

No.

Most ghosts can be explained by natural phenomenon and reports from the past can be explained by mental illness. Same with demons.

A person with sleep walking tendencies moving shit in there house, wakes up, GHOSTS!

Many demonic encounters can be explained by sleep paralysis as well as good old fashioned being completely out of your fucking mind.

Demonic possession and speaking in tongues was likely nothing more then epilepsy.

I really really wish they were real, don't get me wrong. A world of excitement and mystery in the unknown...

Sadly the only place you can be terrified by the unknown is about six thousand feet below sea level.

No, I'm not a very spiritual person. I was more frightened of the step-father in Pan's Labyrinth than the monsters.

I believe in God and angels. I also believe in the devil and demons. Shit I had a bloke tell me about his own experience exercising a demon. Says it scared the shit out of him.

Ghosts/Demons make interesting stories and such, but I can't say one way or another that I find them real or imaginary. I never really made up my mind about it. XD

I do not believe in the supernatural. If they existed then they would be well-documented and culturally-accepted, wouldn't they? It's similar to my belief that time-travel to the past will never be created because surely a few future humans would have shown up by now, eh?

Not in the slightest. I will admit that there is a possibility that such things exist, but it's about as likely as me spontaneously transforming into a velociraptor. Possible? Yes. In any way likely? No.
