I am a believer that you can tell a smart person by how stupid they realize they are in reality. Definitely not seeing much of that in this thread. Just a bunch of college kids.

I'm better at somethings than other people but worse at others. My IQ is 136 according to proper tests. It's plus or minus 9 points so it doesn't really mean anything.

Ah beating bush. Anyways I'm above average intellectual both in tests and dealing with the public. The amount of Illiteracy in my area is astounding but it is such a backwater shithole it isn't that surprising.

I've taken a proper IQ test(not those ones on the internet or the ones that give everyone 170) so based on that and personal experience(and the fact that every summer I do a brief collage course, God I hate bragging but i've never told anyone else) and out of that group my score was the higest, I said based on IQ test or similar.

I think logically, I'm competant, I can solve practical problems easily, and find it easy to grasp complicated concepts.

I used to believe I was smarter and higher up than the average person. Than the average person brought very long poles and sticks. Proving to me that nobody is above anyone else, the hard way.

Honestly, I would say I am better mannered and well read than most people I know, but then I had an unusual upbringing.

I'm in uni at the moment and it really is at that point that you learn that you aren't that smart when compared to others in the same class. Perhaps that I got into university should indicate that I;m smarter, but everyone seems to be getting in these days, so maybe not.

Probably would say I am above the average, but not by much. My book smarts and highly developed linguistic capabilities push me further ahead of the pack that I really am.

The average person is really smart, it does not depend on your enviroment (even if you chose "personal expierience" you will have to think of your enviroment), but nobody thinks of this...

I personally believe that IQ is just an indicator on how well you can play tetris but that is just me then.

This is exactly the right kind of question to ask in order to bring the arrogant [INSERT SUITABLY HARSH INSULT] out of the woodwork. People like myself and virtually everyone else that bothered to vote 'yes' based on either IQ or experience, whatever the hell that means. In my experience the trolls on Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion had a higher IQ than most people, so its not a difficult question to answer, and certainly doesnt require reference to what course you're currently stumbling through at university or how awesome being in mensa makes you. But hey, I'm from England, what can I expect. I guess it could be worse. But hey, sod it, Im ready to get flamed by everyone on the forum trying to defend their choice and tell me what I already know.
