Yep....kinda drank too much last night though. Much sickness was with me, but before I was sick I felt so...happy! It was almost worth it.

I'm only a few months off 18 but I drink though rarely, about 5 times a year though that'll probably go up once I'm of age and legally can go to pubs. When I drink I mostly only get tipsy and on occasion drunk. I don't find getting smashed appealing, I'd rather remember the fun I had and not have regrets in the morning.
I'm underage, but I've done my fair share of drinking. I voted no since after my last night with the drinks turned out not so good I gave it up. but honestly I think everyone should get completely drunk at least once, just don't do like I did and have someone to watch out for you and keep you from doing something completely stupid.
Personally I do drink, but mainly at parties, and then only mix drinks (can't stand the taste of beer). While alcohol does have effects physically/mentally, that usually only occurs when one has ingested serious amounts (ie enough to cause you to throw up). I only drink until I start getting tipsy and then stop because that is my safe limit, the point where I'm still in control of my senses and will not suffer any ill effects (hangovers and such), but get that feeling of warmth and relaxation that comes to me.Korten12 said:

I was like you once. I too vowed never to ingest alcohol, thinking that I would be a better person if I kept to it. Then, one day, after I was legal, I drank. I then realized that I enjoyed it much more that I expected. Since then, I drink socially or after a long week. I enjoy the taste of (some) beer, and I like the relaxed, almost warm feeling I get from drinking a couple of beers (Dos Equis for me). I get black out drunk only a couple of times year, and I only do on very special occasions (birthday, Halloween) with very close friends.Korten12 said:
Point is, OP, try to not keep this thought that drinking beer will automatically lead to your moral downfall. My opinion, if you never tried some, you should (just to get a taste), because then you can truly see if you would actually like drinking or not. I had that mentality, and I realized that I was intentionally keeping myself closed off for the sole reason of not looking bad in front of anyone. If you're never gonna drink, don't do for that reason or reasons similar.
I used to drink heavily but now i dont drink anymore,much prefer being sober.. im much funnier sober and contrary to popular belief alot more outgoing without a bloody beer in my hand 
Now and again. I only turned 21 this past summer, so I haven't had time to drink much. I really like some beers, and I'm kind of getting used to wine. The most drunk I've ever been was after two bottles of beer... which isn't drunk at all. I just got kind of tired and sucked at Halo. Over winter break I might get drunk with a friend, just to see what it's like, but I see very little appeal in it... I just drink it 'cause it tastes good.
