I do anytime I am discussing either Politics, Religion, or History in real life, it just amazes me how stupid people are sometimes.

Especially in this forum.

By saying that you're surrounded by idiots not only are you being extremely insulting to everyone you know but you are also acting as if you have some kind of superiority over them, otherwise there would be no need to note that they were idiots.

Well if you weren't so fucking shortsighted, you would realize that the sentence: "Being surrounded by idiots" isn't to be taken so literally. We mean by that that we are dissapointed by a lot of people, so we feel that we are surrounded by idiots.

Seriously though, it's the environment that counts, i.e. the internet is overflowing with phenomenal idiots who can't talk properly, but that's not representative of real life now is it? Not to sound depressing or anything but when I'm locked in my room in the dark staring at the corner of my room it's the happiest I can ever be, because I can't hear or see people. You're welcome.

But then all the rest of the time, say when I'm walking about Cardiff town or something. Yes, I AM surrounded by idiots. (Unless they prove themselves otherwise.)

Sorry, I didn't realize that "Being surrounded by idiots" doesn't mean that at all, silly me. Maybe next time OP should try and phrase it less dickishly.

I generally feel that people are smart enough until proven otherwise.

Except when im driving, people are fucking stupid (tailgating, speeding 15 over, etc.) more times than they are smart.

Which is kinda lame, cuz ive only been driving for a few years now, and im calling them out on it...

There are only a few people in real life who I don't consider to be idiots. I'm not just talking about intelligence, because some of the smartest people I know are the biggest idiots.
