In some respects, yes. I am very untalented at social interaction, and it pains me tremendously. However, in other respects, I do have a fair amount of talent. My artistic abilities are quite impressive, my affinity to sciences and mathematics allow me to understand complex concepts of both exceedingly quickly, and judging by my dorm room's sink being filled nearly to the faucet with dirty dishes, none of which mine, I'm very responsible for someone my age, and in an environment where that is lacking to such a degree, it might as well be a talent.

I've got others, but I doubt anyone would believe me. Then again, what do I care? It's the goddamn internet.

In a word yes I feel very untalented, I wish I had singing talent or some artistic talent but I have none.

The reason I decided to make this poll was for the sole fact that I feel completely untalented while everyone I know is talented in many different ways I realized im just bland. I cant do jack crap which makes me depressed, does anyone else feel this way?
Talent is an illusion.

Seriously, do you think that the person with great art skills just got some special software installed whilst in his mother's womb? Or that the famous musician just happened to have the right gene for blowing a trumpet?

All it takes is determination. Pick something that you want to be good at and get to work. Don't expect some kind of stupid Rocky montage where you get awesome in the space of a month. Work persistently and always look to find new ways to improve and soon you'll be the guy/girl that everyone around you says 'Wow, i wish i could do (X) like you' to.

I wrote up a whole article where i ranted about this before, with tips on how to start learning and get good at anything, regardless of whatever talent you think you may or may not have. You can view it here [http://workhate.co.uk/?p=782]

I tend to feel that way. It's probably because I don't have a real hobby.

My asperger's syndrome reduces my motor skills, so I feel untalented in such regards, but, I try to find things that can be constructive even if they don't require motor skills.

wow, exactly 50/50 (as of me posting)
Yeah I don't feel like I have much in the way of talent, I can't do anything cool and I don't think I'm especially good at anything.

I don't specialize in any particular field, but it seems I can pick up just about anything a bit faster than anyone else in my group. I'm also the most articulate of the lot, in the majority of cases, so it doesn't bother me too much when someone else is better than I am at X subject. I am sufficient.

Untalented? Nope.

Under-talented? Absolutely.

But it's my own fault for wasting too much time instead of practicing my instruments.

The day I finally have all my solo project music recorded and mastered, THEN I will consider myself talented.

Yeah, at times, I don't feel too talented. But that doesn't mean I get upset and stop doing what I enjoy. Sure, I suck, now, but if I keep working and practicing on what I'm doing, I'll get better. Practice makes perfect.

I feel like that too most of the time. Like no matter what I do someone else always does it better than I can. It's kind of frustrating. Maybe i'm just too hard on myself, I dunno.

Other than having copious amounts of luck (which might be a talent?) I have an excellent memory of things. I'm debating if it is or isn't considered talent. I can do weird things, like clover my tongue and open cans with my teeth. I don't really consider either a talent. Being exceptional at Drawing, Music, or say Martial Arts. That would be talent. I lack skill in the first two, and have not tried the latter. I may be a true prodigy, or an absolute doofus. We shall see.
