I usually don´t talk when I play online, only to friends and maybe a friendly GG or bye when I logg off. Much easier to not listen to the idiots.
So yeah guys are annoying.

I'm a dude, and even I can't stand the shitheads.
ShitHead:"Hey babbeh, what size are your tits?"
Me:"Why do you need to know, it's not like you're ever gonna see them. Or for that matter any tits."
SH:"Fuck you ****** ass"
Me:"That's real-"
SH:"******"
Me:"You're just gonna keep-"
SH:"******"

Srsly.
The only thing I find worse are the ones who actually try to butter it up by acting all 'nice' to the ladies and rage at anyone who DARE INSULT THE LADY BECAUSE THEY SHOULD SHOW RESPECT ASDKSFHLEHFOSEF

I mean, I bet they sit there thinking girls actually will fall for shit like that.

This is part of the reason that I don't play online. People just don't know how to act, especially when they're anonymous. Personally, I tend to prefer the company of men over girls (For one thing, guys tend to be much more entertaining, even if it can border on annoying sometimes) However, it really PISSES me off when guys start start treating me like some kind of sex kitten like they don't have a scrap of maturity or respect in their bodies. I could never figure out why they complain about how there aren't any girl gamers around, but whenever a girl does show up, they treat her like that.

...Do any of you boys out there have any idea why they feel the need to do this crap?

Funnily enough, i know a girl who does that for kicks.

And many guys who pretend to be girls :D, ive done it myself, quite hilarious.

To be honest though, it pisses off everyone on the server, not just the girl (Probably guy), on the receiving end.

Yes, Jesus fuck they can get irritating. Thankfully, they don't tend to be too bad on WoW. I guess that's because everyone assumes everyone else is a fat hairy guy in his mom's basement, so nobody hits on anybody.
You have clearly never been on a roleplaying realm.... xD
Touché, sir. I've only been on PvP realms. For that, I am thankful.

Aye PvP realms and PvE realms are fine but RP realms are terrible some guy tried to randomly hit on me when i was on a female character once i was like "Dude your so barking up the wrong tree" but i have moved all my characters to a PvE realm which is much better...

and for any young WoW players...stay away from roleplaying realms children

Oh, it usually goes like this-

1. I'm called a 'little kid', which I usually ignore unless they're rude.
2. Some of them stubbornly insist I'm not female, while others are already going 'are you hot?' etc.
3. Someone goes 'don't worry, I'll watch your back'- or 'don't kill the girl' or something equally daft.

I refuse to 'hide' myself, though. I probably get more heckling than some girl gamers because I will always shout at someone on voice if I need to. Because how else can I get them to do what I want?

I hate how we are treated sometimes. i do have some really close guy friends who actually treat me liek a real normal gamer. I dislike how were also put on a pedistal, or soemtiems drivin to the ground while in an online game.

I also refuse to hide. i wish to show that i am a gamergirl, and show that girls my age can game like men can.

Yes, guys online can be incredibly infuriating. Guys online are usually trying to hook up with me half the time whenever I get bored enough to play RuneScape. Stuff like that is mainly what keeps me from the online multiplayer and frustrates me that I can't reach through the screen and give anyone who annoys me a knuckle sandwich. But I still play some games online just for the smegging 'ell of it.

This is where I am embarrassed by my sex. Yes boys, I refuse to call you men, there are women on the internet. Can we please move on now and continue kicking their ass? Honestly, there's one friend of mine who, whenever this girl gets online and comes into our party, flips into a completely different person, and a much more annoying one at that.

I believe this is what you're looking for my good man.
It does quite well at insulting most stereotypes of gamers.

Humans online can be pathetic. I blame the online disinhibition effect (better known as the G.I.F.T.), personally.

Yeah those guys cheese me off too. I call them the "White Knights". They just stir it up. Also, it's degrading when a guy thinks he has to "protect me" from ventrilo bullshit, like my poor delicate female mind can NOT for the life of me defend itself from internet morons.

Used to play tribes two when teamspeak was just getting popular. Got a lot of "hey are you really a girl?" or like "do you have any pics?" also got shat on by douchebags who have no idea how to operate in a team or play CTF and fuck up something and call me a ***** when I tell them next time they need to grab a sammich DO NOT GUARD THE FLAG omg. We're in a firefight, they're afk! Who wouldn't complain?

On mmos it was guildmates who'd want to talk or rp or some shit. Some of those guys would follow me around or offer to help with quests. Like, trying to suck up to cyber? I don't even know.

Party leading as a female is awesome when your party are all immature sexists. I'd play a lot of ffxi. I had some l337 skills. I was pretty diplomatic. Nothing could save me from people getting pissed over everything and spamming the zone with "Cake-Pie is a stupid *****!!!" Real sophisticated. I did find a lot of female gamers this way, though. We bonded.

Also, a lot of them were sick players. :) High five, ladies.
