Title says it all, just wondering.

I'm going to ask "someone" to be my girlfriend tomorrow, just before going into vacations for two weeks.

Anyway, I think title says it all. I thought it would be a rather interesting question to make to the Escapists.
No. A lot of bullying during my teen years has made me shell up, so I'm very much afraid to commit.
I also feel your pain, with the added awkwardness that I'm now worshipped (and thus have almost no idea how to act).

Another issue of mine is that I have long hair, and will not cut it. Seriously, I just look awful with short hair. I know there are lots of girls that like long-haired guys, but I haven't found them yet, or they're being very quiet about it :p
Wait, why are you worshiped? Are you Jesus?
Strangely enough, yes. After a particularly epic gig, there is now a whole bunch of people who know me only as Jesus, Lord of Metal \m/_.

That's usually a bad move, mate. I mean, good on you for taking the initiative, but leaving her on her own for two weeks just after you asked her out doesn't seem like a particularly smooth move.

OT: Unsurprisingly, the bulk of the Escapist's users are single. Pity we had to actually live up to that stereotype, though. *laughs*

I should have been more specific and clear. During those two weeks I can see her actually, as she doesn't lives far. Not that I'm going to another place to pass the time.

To everyone here that says they don't have a significant other, and don't want one. I would strongly advise you guys to reconsider. Ive recently found a girl that makes me so, incredibly happy. Everyone should feel the way that I currently feel at least once in their lives. Dont give up on love, its not giving up on you.
kudos to you, I am at the exact same point that you, I found my other significant other recently, and yes it is great

Closing in on 2 years now.
Had our share of bumps, but we're in the clear now.

Oh, I get you. I made the assumption that by "vacation", you meant "trip abroad". Clearly I assumed incorrectly, hah.

Not right now, had one a couple of months ago.

Broke up after a year, I had to do it, no one she knew liked me and she was always disappearing without telling me. |: It was annoying me to hell.

But I really want another one, I have a problem with being alone, I find it hard to connect with people, and when I have a GF it feels like I'm secure and have someone who'll put up with all my shit.

I have a girl I like now, not even like, I love her, really, she is basically my best friend. (The only thing I want is for her to tell me she loves me like I love her, but her normal love is good enough for me. XD)

I was kinda dating a girl, but we had an argument. It was a 'kinda relationship' because she was asexual and we both knew I had too active a sex drive to let that work out. xD

All net relationships, I don't care what people say, it still feels great. 3 (Ish. XD) for a 15 year old lonely, cynic bastard is pretty good, IMO.

Never had one. Mostly due to my social ineptness, and also because there are better fish in the sea.

Currently in a relationship. It hasn't been long, a couple of weeks, but I've loved this girl for a few months, but I was still pretty fucked up over my ex. But whatevz.

Fun times commence!

Any girl I've asked out was either busy, already in a relationship. Aside from some insignificant 2-day dating period with some random girl who asked me out despite having no idea who I was (I accepted simply because I figured "what the hell, I've got nothing to lose"), I've never been in a relationship.

I guess it's not a good thing that I'm about month from turning 20, and almost halfway done college.
