Hey all. Yes I've had about 4 "serious" gf's. I'm 24 btw. Fist one was when I was 18, loved her and she dumped me. It ended badly and we didnt talk for about 3.5 years. On good terms now, and I just found out shes getting married. After that I dated a few girls, and like I said I only consider maybe 3 or 4 of them actual relationships. My best one was probably in 2007. Got a long great, had things in common, but we went to different colleges and she couldnt take the distance; so it ended. On of my most recent ex's and I are pretty good friends. I'm living in China right now though, so with China's internet censoring its difficult to stay in touch with people at times.

As for the guys who havent had a gf and want one, it'll happen. Just make sure to put yourself in situations where it CAN happen. By this I mean going out, yes thats right, going outside. And not just at 1am for a mountain dew/ cheetos run so you can stay up playing WoW or some other MMORPG. Want a quality girl? BE a quality man. If you dont think you are a quality man, then you have more problems then getting a girl.

As for now, I'm single and pretty happy about it. My last gf was a really cute japanese girl named Yuki, we broke up when I came to China and I havent had a gf since I've been here. I've dated a little but no gf. Chinese girls can be uber serious about things like sex and dating, its WAAAY different than back in America.

Used to about 2 and a half years ago, but may be getting another one soon. I'm currently very into a girl I know, even though it's very long distance (England to America). Although I can help but be surprised one or two of the similarities between her and my ex (off the top of my head, they both have OCD, both have a history or have depression, both are very anti-drug/anti-alcohol, both are somewhat religious, both live in a town called Southport (my ex lived in Southport just outside of Liverpool, the girl I'm into lives in Southport in America).

Well, I'm 18 and I've never had a girlfriend. :) However I have had 2 boyfriends. The first relationship just wore off after 6-7 months and now I've been together with my second boyfriend since January... Just don't know how long this one'll last cos of the way my mind works, I can't stand it when someone tries to fit me into being the "weak part" of the relationship or patronize me. =_= As I'm a girl I'm supposed to be weak and supposed to miss my boyfriend (=not make do without him) and want to spend __every__ living moment with him... *headdesk*

The option of a girlfriend hasn't been ruled out though, just gotta wait and see what happens. c:

Wow, you lucky bastard! I have always dreamed of an Asian boyfriend... I just can't help but to drool when I see an Asian guy pass me.

Never. I've come very close, but I'm cripplingly uncomfortable in intimate situations if I think it might be going somewhere, so I have a habit of sabotaging myself.

No, I've had a couple.

They all turned out badly. I'm a very mean person to people I know well, and it tends to wear them down.

I don't think I want to have any more relationships. They're a hassle.
No surprise to me, I'm in the same boat. My friends and I are constantly making fun of each other. Which is just something we do for the hell of it. The one problem is its not a good characteristic to use when you have a girl fiend.

In a way. Only problem is she hasn't gotten over a boyfriend that died about a year ago so we call ourselves "Exclusive best friends with benefits" and our type of relationship as a "whatever the fuck this is". It's basically like if we were going out except we just act like friends at school and when we're around others.

Just a little explanation why, couples younger than me annoy me. They have been together an hour and there so in love, there going to be together forever and have loads of kids ... next week there broken up and shes pregnant. They change partners more than they change there underwear
this is a pretty gross generalization of late teens/early twenties couples. i was married before i was 21.

I was talking more pre-teen - 20's.

Are generalizations really that bad? It still rings true, given our current culture of copious amounts of alcohol followed by a string of one night stands.

I am not saying every person will follow this stereotype, I certainly don't.

Each to there own, you like being married, I like not having to cope with another person.

A couple in middle school (not at the same time, though.) but that doesn't really count.

I really don't care right now, I find it hard to identify with most people in my school anyway considering how many of them act like you need alcohol and weed to be happy. I'm hoping the people I meet at University will be a bit more like me.

(For the record, I do have friends, but thanks for asking.)
