I don't have one and I don't plan on getting one. I'm not against them or anything, in fact I love looking at other people's tattoos, but it just isn't my style.

Yeah I have one. I have a Canadian flag on my upper arm just below my shoulder.
Niiiice. Love the pride, my man.

Wouldn't mind that on a t-shirt.

...and one on my left hand that says VERITAS in blacklight ink
You get a cookie for this reference.
I took the cookie from him.

Why thank you.

My brother wanted us to get their tattoos on our hands, so we figured blacklight ink would help conceal them, since I want to be a cop and he wants to be a teacher. Neither job really allows visible tattoos.

Seriously, no visible tattoos allowed in teaching? What country do you live in?
I was worried about this as well, seeing as I'm gonna be a teacher myself, so I did some research back then... luckily, over here in Germany visible tattoos are no problem in that particular profession (as long as they aren't overly violent or obscene).
Maybe someday I'll get another tattoo, when I'm not constantly broke or blowing what little money I have on games... ^^° I'd go for the dagger chain from 'Prince of Persia: Two Thrones', snaking its way down the length of my forearm.

I don't really see the purpose of a tatoo, unless I was part of a crime syndicate or an ancient tribe.

I was considering it, before I realised it'd me me look like a twat.
Perhaps one day, if I ever lose weight and/or get reconstructive surgery or something, I'll consider it again.

Looking like me sucks, you guys.

America. It's apparently too "unprofessional" or something.

I do not have a tattoo. I might be thinking about getting one when I'm older, but it'll probably never happen.

I don't have one and probably never will. I don't think there bad, just don't think that it would look good on me.

It's... hard to resist making a crack about freedom at this point, but something makes me think I'd get the axe for it.

Still, that sucks. And it's illogical, if only from a psychological perspective... a suprising amount of effort is put into making school 'not boring' for students these days, and one would think that a tattooed teacher would be something with the potential of ripping students out of their stupor and sparking attention and possibly conversation.

tattoos just aren't for everyone... i'd want to wash it off when i got sick of looking at it.

also people tend to put things that they think are static, but later find are definately dynamic.

Yeah, it is pretty annoying, but luckily there is a way around it. I mean, how many blacklights are cops and teachers going to run into?

You know, I would've loved having a teacher with a few tattoos. Kill some class time by asking about the stories behind them.
