That's what I'm saying... at least this way students will engage their teachers in conversation/discussion instead of whiling away the time by drooling on their notepads.Jedoro said:Yeah, it is pretty annoying, but luckily there is a way around it. I mean, how many blacklights are cops and teachers going to run into?
You know, I would've loved having a teacher with a few tattoos. Kill some class time by asking about the stories behind them.
Really? i live in america and one of my teachers has two tattoos that are visible when he wears a t-shirt... perhaps it's the area you live in?Jedoro said:America. It's apparently too "unprofessional" or something.Sonicron said:Seriously, no visible tattoos allowed in teaching? What country do you live in?Jedoro said:Why thank you.
My brother wanted us to get their tattoos on our hands, so we figured blacklight ink would help conceal them, since I want to be a cop and he wants to be a teacher. Neither job really allows visible tattoos.
I was worried about this as well, seeing as I'm gonna be a teacher myself, so I did some research back then... luckily, over here in Germany visible tattoos are no problem in that particular profession (as long as they aren't overly violent or obscene).
Maybe someday I'll get another tattoo, when I'm not constantly broke or blowing what little money I have on games... ^^° I'd go for the dagger chain from 'Prince of Persia: Two Thrones', snaking its way down the length of my forearm.
That must've been fun. It just seems like teachers in my area are meant to hate their jobs.Sonicron said:That's what I'm saying... at least this way students will engage their teachers in conversation/discussion instead of whiling away the time by drooling on their notepads.Jedoro said:Yeah, it is pretty annoying, but luckily there is a way around it. No teachers with tattoos at my old school, either... but our English teacher (9th/10th grade) had a face full of scars, that made for some lovely conversation. The guy way pretty cool, we had lots of laughs with him and the lessons were never boring. ^^
Maybe. Damn you, Tennessee!KuroShinigami said:Really? i live in america and one of my teachers has two tattoos that are visible when he wears a t-shirt... perhaps it's the area you live in?
You know the funny thing about that? I thought my ink on my foot, back, and right leg near my knee was gonna hurt like a *****, but it really doesn't hurt that bad at all.The Shade said:Also, I have low pain tolerance. That does get in the way.
