I have it and I use it everyday, but just so people back at home know what is up with me. If I hadn't moved for school, I probably wouldn't even visit it weekly.

I check it everyday, update it once everyday. I comment on a few things going on with my friends and then I leave it, for the rest of the day.

Facebook isn't that important to me but keeping in contact with friends and family is. Especially when a number of them don't communicate using any other means.

No, because I like to be alone and not have to explain to my classmates why I didn't respond to their awesome story about this thing they totally did.

Yes, I do. I like to keep in touch with my friends who I don't see on a fairly common basis.

Please don't flame me

I love when this happens, it always gets a laugh out of me to see an accidental posting in the wrong forum.

OT: I have one, and I visit it every few days for laughs, but I don't do much with it. Enter contests and make jokes, that's about it.

Yes but the only reason it's there was so my mom could do shit with her "farm" and now that she doesn't do it anymore, there really is no reason to keep it up.

I tried, but it wouldn't let me set more personal settings to even more private so I was like "well sod that" and never used it.

I'm addicted to it... I just can't help but inadvertently facebook stalk people. I also use it for messaging people, because more of my friends have it than use msn or any of that.

I used to, but I recently had to delete it because it was causing me all sorts of obnoxious troubles in real life like I have never had with any other form of networked social communication.

It serves as proof to me why the anonymity of the internet is so important. The more "real" you make something online, the less ability some people have to mind their own business and start to track their pointless drama of human filth into it.

What I cant help but wonder about is when exactly was it that we lost the ability to see that no one does, and no one should give a chit about the irrelevant and mundane day to day nature of ones existence?

I find it fairly depressing to think that in a world with so many problems that need attention, some cant be bothered to look outside of their personal circles because they are over saturated by the droning white noise of useless information. It genuinely scares me to think where this trend will evolve to.

I used to, back when only college students used it. *suppressing elitism* Don't use it anymore. I don't find it necessary. I'd prefer to talk to people in real life, and I don't want future employees finding my profile or anything. And I don't have anyone I'd like to keep in touch with either. I might consider signing up again if a close friend moves overseas, but then I could always email them.

I had one, I never used it, and then I deleted it due to privacy concerns. Serious privacy concerns.
