Yup! I use mine to keep in touch with old friends from high school and some friends in collee. It's very useful to me. I've also found people I haven't talked to in years. It's pretty fun.

I used it quite a bit when I first got going into college. Now I've removed almost all traces of those silly games/applications/whatever and only use it to follow bands and randomly share things with my friends. It keeps me amused and in touch. I rarely even have my face visible for my profile pic. Occasionally I'll say something relevant to my life, but not often.

If indeed employers are looking at this sort of stuff, I'll freak out the accounting firms but might be able to land a job as a gag writer, which is an infinity-plus-one times more rewarding career anyway.

No. Never had a facebook, myspace or anything similar. Well, I made a facebook account once, to view a friend's pictures, but it's in a fake name and I haven't used it past two minutes. So I stick by my "no".

Yeah I use it to keep in touch with people form different forums, like golivewire escapist, and since i quit Wow i keep in youch with some people

I can't hang out with all my friends all the time, so I talk to them on Facebook. Sounds pretty great to me.

Certainly. I'll check it a couple of times a day just to check what the people I know in other countries, or other parts of the country, are up to. Or to check if I've been invited to anything. Or complain, generally.

I do something with my facebook about once every 4 months.

Yup, and I use it often. In fact, the tab is open right now. I do it so I can keep in touch with my friends and family who are off and away across the country.

Considering its the main way to keep in touch with people on a mundane level, not using Facebook can sortof be shooting yourself in the foot in social terms.

I disagree with you. Granted, a lot of people use it, it's very accessible and all, but there are lots of other ways to keep in touch. I don't have a Facebook and people still accept to talk to me and still find ways to contact me. Considering all the other communication media, I don't understand how not having a Facebook would socially hinder me.
