If indeed employers are looking at this sort of stuff, I'll freak out the accounting firms but might be able to land a job as a gag writer, which is an infinity-plus-one times more rewarding career anyway.
I disagree with you. Granted, a lot of people use it, it's very accessible and all, but there are lots of other ways to keep in touch. I don't have a Facebook and people still accept to talk to me and still find ways to contact me.
