There are some that unfortunately do that and it seems some do it just to raise their post counts. Sometimes it jsut seems as if some people feel the need to post in pretty much every thread, even if they have no real input in the topic or are repeating what has already been said.Jamieson 90 said:I feel the same, you know the whole quality over quantity thing, but I have no idea how people have the time to rack up post counts of 5000, never mind 20k or even 30k, so really I think it comes down to how much free time you have. As for the post count itself well yes and no, and by that I mean I'm less likely to take someone serious if they're new and have like ten posts because they might be a troll, but beyond that no because your post count doesn't mean much.Winthrop said:I'm in the same boat as you (Been here about as long and haven't reached 1000 yet). I hate when people hold my post count against me, especially if they haven't even been here that long. I don't post much by nature. If I have nothing of value to add, I won't say anything.tricky-crazy said:Coming from someone with a low post count, I don't really judge people with high post count but it bugs me to no end:
How the hell do they get so high in post count ? (over 5000)
OT: I don't really, unless someone is saying inflammatory things I might check their post count to see if they just made a profile to troll or question how they haven't been banned lol It can been seen a bit with quoting though around the forums, if two people make virtually the same post it's just about always one of the regulars that gets quoted even if the other person posted first which is a bit silly to me.
