Fair enough. I respect your opinion and your ability to convey it in a nice manner.

I guess I do appear as a vain teen. Oh well. I have no other nice pictures so a vain teen I will stay.
That said, I am an irritable 18 year old who is constantly pissed off by teenagers who have your haircut that don't give me the due respect and then run off when I threaten to teach them said respect.

Nothing personal, thanks for not button mashing the report button.

Yes, as long as there are no tents. I fucking hate tents. You can never sleep in them, and insomnia is one of the worst forms of mental torture imaginable.
Sleeping in tents is easy. You just have to be tired first.
Try hiking 15kms a day then you'll sleep like a proverbial snorlax.

Perhaps I can give you the same advice I gave that priest who called me a homosexual for having long hair. Dont judge people by their appearance or hair. Any a**hole can use a comb. The respect thing works both ways. I have hard time getting respect from any people a few years older than me unless they really know me.

I had kind of bad luck on my last camping trip, the tent was pitched over hard ground that was impossible to sleep on, so I wandered around the campsite for the entire night without getting a wink of sleep. Well actually first I felt seriously claustrophobic inside the tent so we took the cover off, this proved to be a fatal mistake though as it rained, luckily I was up and outside at the time so it wasn't too bad but the sleeping bags and pillows got muddy.

Oh I usually have no problems with respect, its just that teenage demographic that thinks its a good idea to annoy the 6 ft 5 athletic guy.

Ah crap gotta go to class.

I love camping, sitting around the campfire cooking your food out under the sky miles away from civilization, sleeping in a sleeping bag in a tent then waking up the next day to go hiking/ATV/Dirt biking or just hanging out with some friends...

I love the outdoors...

Go camping with a bunch of friends, take a bunch of booze.

Fun ensues, I promise you.

I just got back from camping, actually...we've been going on overnights on a weekly basis.

Camping rocks, if you do it right. Tents are too easy, I made my own shelter from a few tarps and ropes. Camping stoves are unnecessary, and instant food is cheating, steaming veggies with butter and French Onion soup mix, and grilling over coals is the way to go. Alcohol is a nice addition, if that's your bag. And when it all comes down to it, a camp fire instantly makes anything awesome. Poker by campfire, while a friend of yours is running through the woods lighting stuff on fire, is an excellent treat. Almost as good as coming home and taking a shower afterward.

I love camping. It is relaxing and I actually like sleeping in a tent. Though it is prefered that there is a bathroom on site.

I actually really enjoy camping: my problem is with the people who think that the mixture of camping and technology is some kind of unholy sin that absolutely cannot happen. Not a single argument for that is valid, especially when I bring my laptop for the sole purpose of writing (something that I do unspeakably better on a keyboard than on paper). As long as I'm allowed to bring my technology with me, I really like camping.

I hate it. I don't mind getting dirty and I like the outdoors, it's just that camping is boring as shit.

Camping is great. I was a Scout for some odd 10 years. I still think those weekends with friends in the wilderness (with or without bathrooms, you wimps) are some of the funnest times that I can remember.

I think it's more the idea that you bring a trailer with a satellite dish and watch tv or something akin to that. Writing, on a computer or whatever, is totally ok by me.

So soon there is a class field trip to go camping for three days. We are going to sleep in tents, hike and swim and such. For some reason I seem to be the only person in my class who thinks this sounds like a horrible idea. I hate camping and hiking.

What about you?

EDIT: Also if you do/don't like camping, why?

I don't like camping because I don't like the feeling of being dirty all the time and I'm afraid of bugs.
Dude it will prepare you for music festibles, which are the shit! :D
