Unless you are being sarcastic, this.John Funk said:Hell yes. She makes awesome pop music.
It's not a personal attack. He doesn't like her music, he said so, and in a way that falls well within forum guidelines.Swollen Goat said:I understand that this is your website and all so content is ultimately whatever you wish it to be, but the message I get is that personal attacks are just fine so long as the person attacked isn't here to defend themselves. Or y'know, as long as it's not YOU, it's fine. If nothing else I would expect the people in authority to be a tad more mature and state their dislike for something without calling it crap. I expect that of your teenage users. Not the staff.Susan Arendt said:Not quite. He's offering an opinion about a musical artist, not a member of the community. If he were on a Lady Gaga forum, then yes, perhaps his comments would be banworthy, but that's not the case here. He stated a personal opinion that doesn't attack anyone or anything on this site, which is completely within bounds.Swollen Goat said:That's nice to see the staff say. If I posted that on say...Rebecca Mayes I'd be out of here in a heartbeat.George Palmer said:Boring repetitive crap. When she actually writes more than one song with a different set of chords and beats I may listen to her again. But probably not because she's at about the 11 mark on her 15 min of fame. And no she is not the next Madonna.
But she does sell cds and mp3s apparently. Then again crap selling like hotcakes is nothing new.
Are you sure it wasn't Gwen Stefani you saw??danpascooch said:I was once dragged along to one of her early concerts by a friend that I am suspicious of being gay (not that it's a bad thing, I'm just wondering if it's true, and starting to think it is)
Around the time she started spelling Bananas I was like: "fuck this" and left.
The next time I saw her was on Saturday Night Live when she had some sort of orbiting-rings costume that kept hitting her in the face, it was hilarious.

You're right, still, Lady Gaga is fucking insane, and her music videos are just gross shit.arc1991 said:Are you sure it wasn't Gwen Stefani you saw??danpascooch said:I was once dragged along to one of her early concerts by a friend that I am suspicious of being gay (not that it's a bad thing, I'm just wondering if it's true, and starting to think it is)

Because non of Lady Gaga's songs have the word Banana in it... 2:28 i think you mean...
Funny you should mention how unique her music is, while quoting two people who mixed her up with Gwen Stefani, lol.Jerious1154 said:danpascooch said:I was once dragged along to one of her early concerts by a friend that I am suspicious of being gay (not that it's a bad thing, I'm just wondering if it's true, and starting to think it is)

My opinion is that she makes catchy pop music that is actually unique, even if its not the most artistically creative. When you hear a Lady Gaga song, you know it's a Lady Gaga song. That's refreshing in a world where pretty much every other pop star (Katy Perry, Ke$ha, Rihanna etc.) is indistinguishable.
The delicious irony.danpascooch said:Funny you should mention how unique her music is, while quoting two people who mixed her up with Gwen Stefani, lol.Jerious1154 said:danpascooch said:I was once dragged along to one of her early concerts by a friend that I am suspicious of being gay (not that it's a bad thing, I'm just wondering if it's true, and starting to think it is)
