Everything's in the title. Do you play and which versions do you play? 4e, 3.5e, Pathfinder, Star Wars?
I'm currently in a 4e game and a Pathfinder game, the latter of which has fantastic and hilarious characters all voiced by my DM.

EDIT: Tried adding a "Used to" option but the poll's being annoying.

Hell to the Yeah I play D&D!!!

I am a DM for our monthly group who plays babies first D&D (4th edition using pre-made books is what I'm saying). Once we have completed the three books I bought, I intend to spread my DMing wings and make my own adventure. There will be black jack! And Hookers!

One of the members moved to California though. Fortunately, D&D with Skype worked shockingly well so we can continue our merry band's adventure!

I love D&D. Tho I haven't played it in at least 2 years. And I'm missing it so badly, i still remember the hilarious stuff that happened in different campaigns and such. It was all just so awesome, and so fun. Unfortunately, I had to move to another town, since i started attending a University there. And the group more or less slowly dissolved before that, anyways. People got jobs, or went to collage or uni, and well, split up. Kinda sad.

But damn, it was fun. We played mostly 3.5, tho at the start, we used 3.0. Almost all of the party members had a chance or two to try out DM-ing, but one of us stood out most, and he was able to pull out such great stories and hilarious moments, no-one really wanted to take his place and give it a go later on.

Good luck with that! I've only once played using pre-made books, and it was one of my first games. It was fun, tho the party didn't really get very far. Anyways, creating your own adventure will be quite awesome, I'm sure of it. Tho there's more pressure on the DM, not only to act and tell the tale, but to actually form it and make it interesting. Some people are better at it than others, but since you've been a DM for a while now, I'm sure you'll be quite fine! Just as long as the players are entertained and engaged in the adventure. Or something like that. Tho the DM should never be bored, either. Everyone must have fun!!!

So, yeah. D&D is awesome.

Technically - yes, realistically no. I "play" D&D in principle, as in I wouldn't mind too much joining a group that does but I doubt I'll specifically seek out somebody to only play D&D with. When I do play it, it's more out of lack of options, to be honest.

As for version - I play whatever is on offer. Mostly the most stable group I've been is back home where I drop by when I'm...well, back home and they play 4e but if I were to choose the version, I'd personally go with 3.5 and use Epic 6 [http://www.myth-weavers.com/wiki/index.php/Epic_6] (in short - characters only get up to 6th level) because I really like the low gritty fantasy feel it gives.

And if I were running the game, I'd swap the Vancian spellcasting (which it really don't like) with the psionics rules (which are actually pretty good) as well as swap the plain, boring, underpowered martial classes with stuff from the Tome of Battle.

And I haven't actually tried Pathfinder but it's close enough to 3.5, so whatever.

Why is this on the list? Do you mean just games using the d20 system in general?

Hell yea I do. I didn't for many years because I couldn't find a group. But now I play again, albeit sparsely. (once or twice a month.) I play 3.5 with the group atm, though we're looking to maybe switch to Pathfinder.

Nada. I never found it to be very immersive, really. I guess that's due to my acting background, and the fact that I like a solid 'stage' to act out my character's actions. Guess that's why I took to LARPing so well.

I DMed a D&D 3.5 campaign and have been in one or two games as well.

In alot of ways i had alot of fun with it, but there was a few moments towards the end that i grew frustrated with how some players acted.

I recently came into possession of the rules for Star Wars Saga Edition and also recently played a bit of Warhammer Fantasy RPG. The latter of which i found incredibly interesting.

I play Pathfinder at the moment. I have played D&D 3.5 in the past. I also play a game called Arcanis as well, which is based on a campaign setting for 3.5.

Yep, my friends and I have a massive library of 3.5, but regularly enjoy campaigns of Cyberpunk, Paranoia, Call of Cthulhu, Star Wars Saga and even Vampire:Dark Ages. I got into the tabletop RP hobby with <a href=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teenage_Mutant_Ninja_Turtles_%26_Other_Strangeness>TMNT when I was eight and have stuck with it all the way through to present day.

I've been in about ten campaigns now (the majority of which were on experimental systems) and not one has yet finished.

I'm planning on doing one of my own soon, and I can't decide on my own system or running D&D.

Would have liked a "used to" or "would if I could again" option in the poll, because that's my situation. I have, I liked it, I would again if I knew of a good group that met when I was able to join them, but sadly I haven't played it in quite a few years now.

I don't currently play D&D (use to), but I do currently play a Pen and Paper RPG, the Dresden Files RPG game to be specific. SO should I vote yes or no?

Currently setting up for a 4th ed Campaign As the DM. Unfortunately, my group has never been able to finish a campaign. Hoping this one works out fine.

I actually played my first D&D game with some friends a week ago. I originally didn't want to because i was just feeling lazy and really passive, i guess. But damn, i'm glad i went, it was incredibly fun. We got some boxes of pizza (it was a big group, about 7 of us) and just had fun with it.
