Only usually to read things like character bios or class descriptions, or if i'm catching the train home from work and have nothing better to do.

Only when waiting for it to load, sitting on the drive home to play it, etc.

I only read the manual twice: once just after I've bought the game, just while it's loading/installing and once when I'm halfway through the game.

However, if it's a nice manual like Fable II's then I'll read it more often.

I usually flick through it briefly, only going back to it if I get stuck trying to perform a certain move or find any specific part interesting.

I flip through it while the game is loading, installing, or during incredibly longwinded cutscenes.

I like to flip through them while the game is installing. Just in case there's something interesting that may not be apparent in the game.

Well when I was younger, and was sent to bed I'd bring the manual to bed so I could read up on stuff. I like the ones where they are thick enough to beat goats to death with.

I usually start reading them about halfway through a game, before swearing and going "that would have made it a whole lot easier" and promising to read the instructions before i read the next game... which i don't

I read it right after I get the game on the drive home because it makes me excited.

Almost never but when I do, I read them long after I started playing just for curiosity of finding art or little facts that I wouldn't know otherwise.
