No for a two reasons:

My dad smoked and instilled in me that I should never do it. Hypocritical, yes, but he would be the one to know why not to smoke.

I have an addictive personality so I don't even consider trying a cig once.

I quite simply couldn't afford it. Being a gamer costs enough as it is, I think I'm going to skip out on paying for anything else that I don't need.

I don't but don't mind people who do as long as it ain't in my house or car. I think that is completely reasonable.
You have to be one of the first people to actually say something like that, and I personally appreciate it. I do smoke, but rarely do I do it around people who don't, out of respect. Some people think it's a gross habit, and I don't push it on them or force them to inhale my smoke. I respect personal boundries like that. If it bugs someone, I'll put it out or move away from them. But when people approach me after I've started smoking (in a designated smoking area, thank you), and cop an attitude, that's when I get irritated.

I took one puff of a homemade cigarette once, by accident (thought it was marijuana). It threw off my body all day. Never again...

Depends what you are talking about....

I don't smoke tobacco, I've seen it as nothing more then a money consuming habit. You get very little out of it to begin with and after a few months you continue to smoke for to feed that habit, to stop the withdraw from starting. At this point you get none of the benefits you might of received and fork out quite a bit of money in the course of a week, so it is pure money drain and no gain.

Cannabis on the other hand has a benefit (high), can be home grown with ease if you really need a constant supply but isn't addictive physically so you don't. Makes it far easier to consume, occasionally, as a recreational drug and then give it up for months before deciding to have another smoke. While expensive, thanks to prohibition, your not paying out anywhere near the amount of money a tobacco smoker does.

So when I smoke it is cause I want to smoke, thanks to the fact I don't have to feed an addiction. Well if I can get any, damn prohibition.

Do I intentionally inhale recently burned toxins, poisons and carcinogens during my liesure time?

No, that's just silly. Why would I want to do that?

I don't get why people think they can tell others what to do, so I don't understand those who bash smokers, but nor do I understand why some smokers find it amusing to inflict their noxious gases on others who would far rather not breathe carbon monoxide and all its toxic breathren.

I can respect your respect, although I still thinking smoking is stupid.

Nice of you to not do it near the non smokers though. Thank you, so many people just light one up while waiting for a ferry or something and walk by all the cars with open windows.

Those people are jerks...

In my whole life (admittedly only sixteen years, so not very long), I've only ever put a cigarette in my mouth twice, and only one of those was lit.

Smoking was the main reason my father died, I think he would of wanted me to learn from his mistakes, so I don't smoke.

Socially. However, I am annoyed by those idiots who keep harassing me about the dangers of tobacco while I'm smoking my cigar. I really try to smoke right next to their faces.
This is kinda' how I feel. I don't exactly think that smoking is good for you, but the anti-smoking people are such a load of smug pieces of shit that I've considered taking up smoking just to spite the bastards.

I smoke; problem being I'm not addicted at all. I can do pack a day for a month, then quit cold turkey with no real craving.

I should add that at any given time I would take up pipe bubble-smoking.

Badass and comical.

I tried it on a few separate occasions but each time I tried it I nearly coughed up a lung. So no, no I don't smoke.

yes i do, and have done for a few years now, yes i know how dangerous it is i have lost more than 1 family member to it. However the thread will soon start to turn into a flame war as smoking threads always do. So to try and prevent that can i ask that people refrain from over the top post's about smokers being stupid.
