It's always been my policy to have a large cup of whatever I want to drink along with a big bowl of whatever I want to eat with me whenever I embark on a long gaming session. Unfortunately, long gaming sessions tend to take a back seat in summer when I have to work overtime (which usually happens on the weekends, my "days off").

Yeah, I forget about my bodily functions as well. My second day with Saints Row 2 I went nine hours without eating, drinking, or using the bathroom. Then I stood up and it all hit me.

I tend to eat while I game. xD I also get angry a lot because my controller gets all greasy and I get very upset over it! Yet I still eat while I game. :3

I tend to eat normally. There are times, however, where i might skip lunch purely because i'm not feeling hungry enough to be bothered to go down and prepare something. That only occurs for the most part if i'm pre-occupied with something though. For example, if i'm fully engaged in a session of the Witcher, i'll be so focused on getting my quests done or engrossed in the plot to really care enough about stopping for lunch, though i nearly always have some sort of drink by my side, like water. (Probably because constantly drinking has become a habit. Don't ask me why.)

Although this isn't exclusive to just playing video games. If i'm in the middle of a good book and i'm eager to know what happens next, i won't stop to make lunch unless i'm really hungry - and even then, most of the time i can hold on until dinner. Though if i'm doing something more passive like watching TV then i'll be a lot more inclined to get up and make lunch as my attention is not actively engaged to such a degree.

I may have missed a meal or two during a lengthy session, usually either breakfast or lunch.
I've never gone a day of not eating because of a game though.

And there's snacks... my mortal dietary enemy.
