Yes, although all it does is gather dust under the telly. Although occaisonally it gets dragged out to play Star Wars or the Lion King.

We've got one downstairs, underneath the inferior tube TV my parents still use. *hugs his Full HD TV + PS3 combo* I wuv you HD, so so so much.

Still, VHS gave me so many important memories. I played my Jurassic Park tapes so much I literally broke them by playing them so much. I friggin' loved Jurassic Park man. I should really get those on DVD, same with Star Wars.

Yep, I have more VHS's than DVD's, so it tends to get more use than my DVD player.

Does that make me old?

Be careful! You do not want to buy the digitally enhanced DVD's of Star Wars. Why? Because:

Han Solo doesn't shoot first!

Also, Hayden Christensen is in the end of Return of the Jedi

I have a DVD/VHS combo player. Funny thing is, the DVD half of it died so now it's just a VHS player with my 'new' DVD player sitting on top of it.

And I do still use it, I taped a fair number of shows back in the day and I watch those now and again. I also have a number of movies on VHS that I don't have on DVD yet, like Jurassic Park, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, Galaxy Quest, Day of the Triffids, The Shawshank Redemption, The Shadow, Pink Floyd - Pulse, etc...

I record stuff with the VHS but these days I dont record any movies because DVD are dirt-cheap. I just record shows to watch a day later or something.

I have a VCR, which I use about as often as my DVD player. We have a very large collection of videos, many of which are still fully functional.

Mine broke about 3 years ago, destroying my copy of Made Of Steel (also known as Beyond The Law and Fixing The Shadow) in the process. I was NOT happy. Still got all of my old tapes though, and also got another VCR around somewhere. Might get rid of the tapes though as I'm buying a lot of cheap DVD's now.

I got a DVD player that has a VHS still attached to it, we use it on occasion to watch some old movies.

My most watched VHS is deffinatly Saving Private Ryan, i swear the only reason i have a VHS (other then the fact that its attached to my DVD player) is to exclusivly watch that movie.
