I do, if I really want something with me. And it's not just because of the costs: I worked in movie theater concessions, and it is an atrocious environment. The soda fountains are dirty with mold, workers would put their bare hands in the popcorn, and we only used warm water to dip the soda syrup hoses in for rinsing. I tried to do more cleaning, but management wanted us out on closing ASAP to get us off the clock.

Movie theater concessions are unsanitary.

Here in Sweden, it's perfectly fine to bring your own stuff. But I never do; I go for the movie.

Heh... two year old necropost.

Oh well. I'll bite.

Yeah, I bring food with me to the movies. But only on days when I'm not in the mood for popcorn. Movie theater popcorn may be outlandishly expensive, but I like it, so sometimes it's worth the price to me.

One time when I was in high school I actually had a pizza delivered to me, inside the theater, on a dare. In retrospect I'm surprised the theater staff let the delivery guy into the building. They must have thought that he was delivering to one of the employees.

While I do know the food in the cinema are expensice but you do know that they don't keep the tickets income right?
Anway I tend to buy ice cream (single scoop) in the cinema half the time but the last time I sneak in my own food was a Krispy Kreme donut. I haven't had one in a while and I saw the stand in the same area where the cinea was so I couldn't resist the temptation.
